Guess who?? Sorry for being MIA. I've had a case of writer's block.
Evidence in point, being the fact that I started this back on the 28th Nov & I've only just finished it!

Hope you enjoy it anyway & hope you're all well!

Tum Ho Toh Lagta Hai Main Hoon.

He watched her intently as she sat across from him at the table, refusing to meet his gaze as she looked around for her friend. Kunal had gone with him to speak to the manager of the venue. To finalise the restaurant as the location of their next shoot. His eyes had been pining to see her ever since he let her go that day. Who would have known that she would actually be sitting in front of him? In just 2 months.

Na Ho Toh Lagta Hai Kyun Hoon.

But these two months hadn't just changed him. She had also changed. & not just the way she looked. Not just the fact that she wasn't even wearing her glasses. Had she had surgery after all? Had her hurt her so badly that she didn't even want to be reminded of him every time she looked in the mirror? She had once told him that her glasses were her identity. Because they reminded her of her Bade Papa. Had he stripped her of her identity??

Tum Ho Toh Udta Hai Mann Yeh
Na Ho Toh Tehra Sa Hai Yeh Kyun.

He closed his eyes. The ache in his heart becoming unbearable. The pain he felt to have her sat right in front of her. Like a stranger he barely knew. The pain was much worse than any pain he had ever imagined.

Ho Sake Toh Rehna Tum Saath Mere.
Ho Bure Ya Ache Haalat Mere.

He opened his eyes to watch her skirting his gaze. All he wanted to do was to reach over. To feel the warmth of her hand in his own. He had dreamed of her time & time again. Each time more painful than the last. Yet he couldn't. He couldn't let the guilt that was already eating him alive inside, project onto his face. He couldn't let her know that he had died a thousand deaths since he made her leave him.He watched her attention divert as a waiter walked over towards them, causing him to sit up straight.

"Mr Rajvansh" He said, & Mishti casually tuned into the conversation, not looking up.
"Yes?"
"Mr. Kunal said that he had to leave urgently, there was a call from the office"
"Rea-" He began, confused. Getting his phone out to call him.

"Excuse me-" Mishti interrupted & the two of them turned their attention to her.
"Where is Mr. Nishant?"
"Sir's on the phone at the moment"
"Okay, great. Thank you" she said, getting up from her seat & grabbing her purse.

"Tum jealous toh nahin horahe hoge na?"

He had been feeling jealous. Incredibly jealous when he saw the two of them walking into the restaurant together, laughing at something or other. He had wanted to leave right at that moment. But he couldn't. He had promised Kunal that he would be there. To support him in his new business venture. He couldn't abandon his brother when he needed him.

But now that Kunal was gone. He could go too. But when he heard her ask for him, he felt his fists clench. He had to stop her. He couldn't let her go.

Zindagi Bhar Rehna Tum Saath Mere.
Ho Bure Ya Ache Haalat Mere.

She looked down at his hand which had taken hers instinctively. "Sorry" he said, realising what he had done & let it go quickly. She gave it a second before she placed her bag on her shoulder & turned away from him. She was leaving him. Again. His heart pounded. It felt as if she was getting ready to get back on that plane to get as far away from him as possible.

She was about to walk off when he took her hand again. Causing her to look up at him in confusion. The first time she had stopped him. But why had he taken her hand again?

Saath Mere... Ho...
Saath Mere... Saath Mere...

She watched as he began to walk off, not looking at her as he lead her out of the restaurant's
vicinity. The warmth of his hand enclosed hers tightly. He wasn't going to let her go. & truth be
told, as much as she should have left his hand, she just couldn't bring herself to. She watched him as he passed his car, continuing to make their journey down the path that led them away from the restaurant.

She had planned in her mind what she would do when the two of them would come face to face. How she would shout at him. How she would tell him that she didn't want him near her after everything he had done to her. After the way he had ended things between them, But now that he was right in front of her, why couldn't she build up the courage? Why was it that the facade that she had worked so hard to build up came crashing down? She didn't even know where they were going. But did she care? She simply followed him as he lead her. It wasn't until 10 minutes later. 10 minutes later of silence as they walked, that she looked up & realised where they had arrived.

MishBeer House.

Her heart ached. What were they doing there? What was going on?

She opened her mouth to speak, to ask him what he was playing at. To as him why he had brought her there. But he didn't give her the chance. He simply led her into the house & made his way to the back of it, towards the staircase that lead them up to the terrace.

They got to the top of the stairs & she looked around her, spotting the huge wooden charpai in the middle of the terrace. Like the one at Champaner. She didn't realise he had let go of her hand at this point, until he went & sat down on the charpai.

She should have turned & walked back down those stairs & out of the house. Away from hi,. Away from this moment. She should have disappeared from there as quickly as she could. But she felt drawn towards him. Like they hadn't even been apart. Like the distance hadn't separated them.

He met her gaze then he patted the empty space beside her. She avoided his gaze before slowly making her way over to sit down beside him, watching as he rest his head back, staring up at the sky.

Taare Saare Bechaare Neend Se Haare.
Magar Humko Aur Tumko Sona Hai Kyun.

What was going on in his mind? Who was he trying to fool? Her? Or himself? She found herself watching him as his eyes remained fixated on the sky as the sun had begun to set around them. She sighed, she had enough of this. She went to get up when he covered his hand with hers, to stop her. She glanced at their hands, refusing to meet his gaze.

Kahin Bhi Tum Na Jao.
Yahin Pe Hi Rukjaao.Tumhe Jaane Ki Jaldi Itni Hai Kyun.

He tugged at her hand slightly & she found herself lay down, beside him. As if she was compelled. She stared up at the sky & recalled what happened the last time they saw each other. The pain she felt. The pain she took with her to London, as per her Bade Papa's instructions. The two months she had spent, away from her family. Away from him. To nurse her wounds. The wounds he had inflicted upon her.

Ho Sake Toh Jagna Tum Saath Mere.Bin Tere Naa Katte Din Raat Mere.Zindagi Bhar Rehna Tum Saath Mere.Ho Bure Ya Ache Haalat Mere.

She turned her head slightly & glanced towards him to see him meet her gaze. So she looked away, afraid to hold his gaze any longer, for if she did, she tears that were threatening to fall, would do just that.

Saath Mere... Ho
Saath Mere,Haan. Saath Mere.....

He continued to watch her as she had closed her eyes. His heart sinking as he saw her bottom lip trembling, trying her best to keep her composure.

Apne Dil Main Banaake Dhadkan Mujhko
Tumhe Rakna Hi Hoga. Dharte Ho Kyun
Paagalpan Ki Hadde Todo Na Aake
Na Jaane Tumne Khud Ko Roka Hai Kyun

He shifted slightly over towards her & simply wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to his chest as she let him rock her back & forth.

Main Zameen Hoon Tum Ho Aakash Mere
Aur Thoda Aao Na Paas Mere.
Ho Sake Toh Jagna Tum Saath Mere.
Ho Bure Ya Ache Haalat Mere.
