I could see the silhouette figure of a woman right above me. There was something about her that felt so nostalgic and even more so when I tried to make out what she was trying to say.

"...ri..." I felt uneasy even though I couldn't make out what she said, but as soon as I heard her voice I didn't want to know what was coming next.

"...ri...Cori...up..." The pretty silhouette figure I saw began to change shape along with her tone of voice.

"Corinne! Get up!"

There couldn't have been a better way to start the night than to wake up to an angry and smelly Chum, well he's angry all the time so what could I have expected? He snatched my ugly old and almost brown sheet off me and gave me the less annoyed look he could give.
"At least you wake up sooner than that fool who looks like a donkey's arse." He grunted while motioning me to get off the bunk bed.

As soon as I touched the ground I tried my hardest not to step on Robin and Nate who were sprawled on the floor, then get to were my jersey was. "That's not very nice of you Chum, Nate's been a lot of help whe- oops, sorry Robin, did I wake you up?" I panicked when my toes slightly touched Robin's olive tanned forehead but thankfully he just shifted a little.
"Just step on 'em, it don't matter if they wake up, they can just go back to sleep." Chum said while covering his ginger red locks with his nightcap and then proceeding to lay his plump and bearded body on the bunk bed I was sleeping in, having small talk always calmed him down. "Ugh! And the new guy Robin will have to get used to the pressure anyways."
"Well, whatever... how's the weather? Anything I should worry about?" I asked Chum while feeling the gray cotton fabric of my jersey rubbing over my face and capturing my long dark blue navy locks under it as I put it on.
"The moon is so bright that it hurts but apart from that everything is calm, oh and-" Thump! I remained calm unlike Chum who got a jump scare and once again retracted to being angry. "What in the bloodiest hell McKenzie? Why the fuck did you do that?" McKenzie was sleeping on the bed below Chum so you can already guess what happened.

You could see Chum's face starting to heat up with no sign of wanting to go back to sleep. "Maybe you shouldn't talk so loud, you pillock!" As soon as McKenzie said that I left the cabin not wanting to end up in between the crossfire.

While freeing my hair of the jersey I walked onto the ship's deck which was supposed to look like oak wood but instead it looked like someone vomited seaweed on it. "What in Nordias sake happened here?" I whispered to myself not expecting anyone to answer.
"Just some high waves earlier today but you lot couldn't have noticed since ya sleep so deeply." Winston caught me off guard since I was supposed to be the only one out on the deck. I looked up at him and saw that he was sitting behind me on the helm while drinking a flask of something that was probably liquor.

"No wonder Chum smelled funny... and it seems you got caught in it too, huh Captain?" The bridge of my nose scrunched at the smell.
"Yup! Just a couple more days and we can go back home, take a nice bath and then relax." Winston sighed at the thought.

He was the identical copy of Chum yet they were so different from each other, sometimes nature was intriguing. "I'll take care of things up here, you should snuggle with them pals at the cabin. I'm sure you're tired." I tried to sound as casual as possible but in reality, I just wanted him to leave so that I could have some time alone. As the only girl in this dogger, there's only so much I can take.
"I was gonna get going anyway, make sure everything's clean when we come back, don't want to welcome the fish to a dirty ship eh?" He jested coming down the helm and then into the cabin. I had forgotten to tell him that there was probably a war going on in there but that's not my problem, I just hope Nate doesn't start crying again.
