Undercover

"Do you really want to do this?" Antonio asked as we got out of the car. "my mom is forcing me to go to school" I said. "I'm talking about the undercover situation" Antonio asked. "yes I'm sure" I said. "are you sure?" Antonio asked. "yes," I reassured him. "Alright,we gotta go look at Cambridge high" Antonio said. "Hey remember that girl I was with, Zelda. Well she goes to Patterson high and well I wanna go there" I said. "Patterson high? No, that's one of the lowest ranking schools" Antonio said. "But I won't fit in at Cambridge high," I said,"please. Put me on trial for a week" I said. "only for a week" Antonio said and we walked back into the car and drove off to Patterson high.

"I'd like to enroll my niece into this school" Antonio said to the secretary. "what grade is she in?" the secretary asked without looking at us. "Senior year" I said. "do you have her records?" She asked and continued typing on her computer. "Her old school is going to send them over" Antonio said. "very well fill this out and you will receive your schedule in the mail in a few days, you can start a day later" she said. "name" she said before we walked off. "Alexandria Marquez" I said. "very well" she said and we walked off.

"Wasn't she lovely" I said as we got into the car. "still want to go to Patterson high?" Antonio asked. "It can't be that bad" I said.

The next morning I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I got up and took a shower. I changed into a black Real Friends t-shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans with blue vans. I tied my hair into a braid and walked out. "ready for today?" Antonio asked. "Yes" I said and sat down in front of Antonio.

After eating we got in the car and drove off to the station.

"Are you ready?" Voigt asked. "yeah" I said. "Erin, get her ready" Voigt said. "its okay I can manage on my own" I said and walked off to the bathroom.

I took off my shirt and changed into a black long sleeve shirt. I left on my black jeans and slipped on a pair of white converse. I undid my braid and messed my hair up. I added foundation so I looked paler and heavy eyeliner with mascara. I added a black nose ring and walked out. "Call up Zelda" Voigt said and I dialed Zelda's number.

"Hey, it's time"

"I'll be there in ten"

I hung up and walked back into the office. "okay wire her up" Voigt said and Jay handed me a wire, I stuck it to the side of my shirt and hit it under my black peacoat and grey scarf. "You need anything you say the words, "black dove" Antonio said. "Once you have them surrounded you say "once in a blue moon" Voigt said. "we're going to be a block away" Antonio said. "anything goes wrong you run" Voigt said. "got it" I said. "I'm ready" Zelda said as she walked. She was wearing a black hoodie with a denim vest, black ripped skinny jeans and black vans. Her black hair was down and she was wearing heavy eyeliner and she had placed in her black lip ring. "Lets move team" Voigt said and we walked out.

"Alexa" Antonio said before I walked out of the car,"be careful" Antonio said. "I will" I said and walked out.

"Act normal" I whispered to Zelda.

"What are you doing here?" A guy asked. "came back to pay us?" another asked. "yes" Zelda said and handed them the money. "who is she?" One of them asked. "she wants a deal" Zelda said. "do you?" One of them asked. "Yes" I said. "You got money?" one of them asked. "yes" I said and pulled out a fifty. "alright here" one of them said and handed me a small bag. "nice doing business with you" another one said. "see you again?" One of them asked. "Once in a blue moon" I said and within seconds there were ten cop cars surrounding us. "act like you have no idea what's going on" Antonio said through the chip in my ear.

"Did you set us up?" One of them asked. "dammit dude, why would I set you up? I'm going to jail too" I said and was handcuffed along with Zelda. we were put in the same cop car that Burgess was driving.

"Good work" Voigt said once we arrived at the station. "thank you" Zelda and I said. "Good job" Antonio said and hugged me. "thanks" I said. "not bad for a rookie" Erin said. "Thanks" I said. "I gotta go, when are you starting school?" Zelda asked. "As soon as I get my schedule" I said. "let me know" Zelda said. "I will" I said and gave her a hug. "bye" Zelda said. "bye" I said as she walked off.

"Do you think I can go undercover again?" I asked once we got in the car. "Again?" Antonio asked. "yes" I said. "maybe if the opportunity shows up" Antonio said. "okay" I said. "funny how you went from running from the cops to helping out the cops" Antonio said and we laughed.
