Elaine's POV
We had just defeated the Ten Commandments and we're were headed to find a small cottage, near the woods, to move out of The Boar Hat. We'd decided now that I'm 9 months pregnant we needed our own place, instead of being watched by my brother. We walked for hours but we finally found a nice, empty, little cottage near a river in the forest. We unpacked and Ban set me down on the bed, he went to the kitchen to cook us some food. I was 9 months pregnant with a healthy baby girl, I could go into labour any second! We had decided on a home birth, Elisabeth would come and help with the delivery as soon as I went into labour, we had finished the delicious meal Ban had made for us, we headed to bed. *At 1 AM*"BAN!" I screamed as I awoke in pain. "Yeah, what's wrong?" Ban asked as he stumbled out of bed to get me my inhaler. "I'M HAVING CONTRACTIONS!" I cried with tears running down my face. Ban got out his phone and called Meliodas, "We need Elisabeth, Elaine went into labour." Elisabeth gently opened the door and told Ban to leave and join King and Meliodas in the living room.
She assured Elaine everything would be okay and dipped a cloth into some water and laid it on Elaine's forehead. "Elaine, your crowning, you need to push." Elisabeth exclaimed. Elaine took a deep breath and pushed for her life. *1 hour later* Elaine held the baby in her arms and Ban quietly entered the room, trying not to wake the baby. "What should we name her?" Elaine smiled. "I have no idea." Said Ban. "How about... Kylie??" "That's perfect."
They spent the rest of the night cradling their baby.
*The next morning*
"Thank you so much for helping us," Elaine said with a smile. "we couldn't have done it without you." Elaine thanked them as they walked out the door, King gave Ban the evil eye as he walked out the door. Elaine cradled her beautiful baby in her arms. She was pale, with Elaine's eyes and smile.
