Chapter 10: Busted

Jungkook lifts Taehyung up in his arms bridal-style, carrying the other to his bedroom. He gently places Taehyung's sleeping body onto the bed.

The pill bottle said he'll wake up in about half an hour. He smiles lightly, but that smile drops when realisation slaps him in the face - really fucking hard.

Namjoon and Jimin are coming over today! Fuck! As if to taunt him, Jungkook hears a knock at the front door. Fuck fuck fuck! He'll just have to refrain from letting them into his bedroom.

Jungkook walks to the front door and opens it, taken aback when he sees unfamiliar people. Holy fuck, what if they're the police?! Okay Jungkook, keep your cool.
"Uh, can I help you with something?"

"Have you seen this person?" One of the three men asks, showing Jungkook a picture of Taehyung that is on his phone. Jungkook is getting sent bad vibes from these men, so he shakes his head.
"No I haven't. Why?" He asks, slightly tilting his head.

One of them chuckles darkly.
"That's none of your business, kid." He speaks, annoyance laced in each word he says. Jungkook hides his frustration.
"What did you call me?" They all laugh at Jungkook, thinking he's another wannabe "cool-kid".

"I called you a kid, now go back to helping your mummy with dinner." The man says. Jungkook relaxes a little, holding back before he punches any of them.
"I live alone."
"Aw, because mummy and daddy didn't love you?"

"No. Because I killed them. Now, you can either get going on your merry little way to attempt to make empty insults to anyone you want to, or you can keep pestering me and end up with a bullet through the thick and useless thing you call your brain." Jungkook harshly threatens. (A/N did you like Jungkook's insult?)

The three men glare at Jungkook and the one he insulted punches him square in the nose. Jungkook quickly punches him back, knocking the guy out in one go. Then, he turns to the other two men and does the same, knuckles bleeding by the time he's finished.

He drags the three bodies inside, deciding to hide them for the time being and kill and dispose of them later. Great, now I have to hide these from Namjoon and Jimin too.

Jungkook settles for tying them up and locking them in the bathroom. He takes some duct tape and drags the men into the bathroom. Before he locks the door though, he pats them down for weapons, collecting a gun from each of them, two knives and their phones.

He locks the door behind him, going back to his bedroom to hide the other weapons. He stuffs them into the shoebox under his bed, glancing at his sleeping beauty.

Jungkook makes a quick decision and puts some duct tape on Taehyung too, just in case he wakes up while Jimin and Namjoon are here. He gives Taehyung a peck on the forehead, putting the tape away.

Jungkook sits down and has the men's phones laid out on the floor in front of him. He picks one up. Now, let's find out why they were looking for my baby.

He turns the phone on, seeing no password and looking through all the apps. On one app he finds a file on Taehyung. Clicking on the document titled "Kim Taehyung", he looks through it.

Kim Taehyung:
Age: 18
Parents: Kim Hyun Woo, Kim Lee-Winyu
Parent's Mafia Association: Joined members of the Black Assassins
His Mafia Association: None
Business With the Boss: Hyun Woo and Lee-Winyu owe money
/Take Kim Taehyung and trade him for the money/

Jungkook was confused to say the least. Taehyung's parents were associated with a mafia called the Black Assassins? They owe that mafia money? And they were trying to kidnap Taehyung for it?!

Does Taehyung know anything about this? Jungkook will have to ask when he wakes up, for the time being, he'll have to clean up his bleeding nose and bloody knuckles. Then, he'll have to deal with the two people that will arrive any minute now.

He cleans himself up quickly, throwing the phones under his bed and waiting for another knock at the front door.

Around ten minutes later a pattern of knocks come from the front door. Jungkook answers it, acting as normal as possible.

"Who's that?" Jungkook questions Namjoon and Jimin, referring to the broad-shouldered man standing behind them.
"This is Jin, he would usually just stay at home, but he wanted to meet you." Namjoon explains, letting himself in.

Jungkook is puzzled.
"Why would he want to meet me?" At this, Jimin sighs.
"I asked myself the same question." The shorter mutters, sitting down in the loungeroom.

"So, have you blown your cover yet?" Namjoon asks, obviously seeing Jungkook as a waste of time.
"Nope." Jungkook lies. He's completely exposed himself to Taehyung.

"Good. Is anyone suspicious of you?" Jimin asks. Jungkook shakes his head. He glances at Jin who is staring at him like he knows Jungkook is lying. This puts the younger on edge.

"Jungkook," Namjoon says sternly, "we know you're lying." Jungkook raises an eyebrow.
"How?" He asks. Namjoon points to Jin.
"Jin's been watching the house for us."

Jungkook's jaw almost drops. What?! Since when?
"What did you do with the three men and your friend, Jungkook?" Jimin questions as if he's the bad cop and Jungkook's the suspect.

Jungkook is right about ready to knock each of their lights out just like he did with the other men.
"The men are in the bathroom tied up. You can do whatever you want with them." He says through gritted teeth.

"And your friend?" Jin urges, finally speaking. Jungkook doesn't answer. Namjoon sighs, aggravated at Jungkook's stubbornness.
"Where is he?" He asks.
"You aren't taking him. He's mine."
