16th Birthday!

I woke up as I felt ice cold water hit my warm body. I shot straight up and screamed only to see my whole family in my room including my best friend and my 3 brothers with buckets in their hands throwing the last bit of water at me, the room erupted with laughter and I shot a growl back at them as I grabbed a blanket that wasn't drenched in water and wrapped it around me and glared at everyone.

"Happy Birthday!" They all scream at the same time. I can't help but smile at this, they actually remembered my birthday. I feel my bed dip down and notice my mom sitting next to me she stretches her arms towards me and I snuggle into her. Oh how I love my mother she is literally the most loving person ever.

"Well we've got presents,open them before were late for school stupid!" Alarik yells and my mom glares at him. I open all my presents which consisted of gift cards, a best friend necklace, a new hoodie and of course my moms famous fuzzy socks. After I opened my presents they all left my room to let me get ready. I peel of my soaking wet clothes and hop into the shower as nice warm water hit my back and I relax for a moment before remembering that today can be THE DAY, THE DAY I find out who my mate is. That is if we even touch or I get to see their birthmark so this is going to be a long journey.
