I had work today. I pulled a plain white shirt over my bare torso and black skinny jeans onto my legs. I laced blue converse onto my feet and shrugged on my coat. Olivia was getting dressed too, in almost the same clothes as me: a long sleeved white top and black tights, with black volleys and a dark purple coat.
She smiled when she saw me watching her. Her eyes were beautiful, as they always had been; over time, they had also developed a spark that made my heart flutter inside my chest.
"Hey, Tim?" She waved a hand in front of my face, stepping towards me with a small smile.
I laughed. "Sorry. Daydreaming."
"About what?" She asked, grabbing her bag from the bedside chest.
I hooked my arm in hers. "You."
