"Ms.Chambers this is Devin Jordan he is a new student at our school, since your one of our top students and one of our most trusted students at this school, we would like you to give him a tour of the school." the lady said in at sweet voice smiling at me.

"Hear is his scheldule and locker information" she said handing me to sheets of paper with writing on it.

Then she turned to Devin. "I hope you have a great firstday of school here." she said as she shoed us out of the main office and into the hallway. looks like someone in a rush. i thought to myself as the door closed behind us.

I started to walk down the hall as Devin followed close behind. i have no clue what to say to him, it was kind of awkward.

"Long time no see, huh?" he said as we continue to walk towards his locker.

"Yup" i said unsure of what else to say. The last time i saw him he kissed me and I didn't want him to get the impression that i liked him in that way.

" So what you been up to?" he asked . His arm keep brushing up against mine and it felt wierd, so i move over a little.

"Nothing" i said stopping at the locker number that was 2257. I handed him the paper with his locker combination and he got it open the first time. Wow, when I first came here it took me a week to get my locker open.

"What's with the one word answers?" he asked me as he shoved his stuff into his locker and locked it up again.

"I Don't know, I guess I really don't have anything worth saying to you." I said look down at his Schedule.

His Schedule was like an exact replica of mine, with a few changes here and there. I had all my clases with him, now tell me that not the else bit of wierd.

"Something wrong?" he said. He must of saw my expression when I looked at his schudule.

"Nothing, it's just that you have all your clases with me." i said looking back up at his face.

"Is that a promble?" he asked with a half smile on his face.

"Um, No" i said looking back down at it.

It's kind of strange that I just meet him less than a week ago, and now he goes to my school, have the same exact clases with me, and I'm the one showing him around school. To add on to that I think he likes me.

If he does I hope it's just a crush and he just gets over it in a week or so, because  if it's not, I don't know what to think.

"Well let me show you around your new school" I said as cheerfully as I could and we were off.

---------Over time

Ok, after showing him around the school and dragging him up and down the stairs I needed a break. That was like a work out. We had small conversations from time to time and other time it was silent. Not like an awkward silents but a nice silents that you could just enjoy yourself and what around you.

But right now we were on the field running around, playing tag like little kids.

"So" he said as he finally caught me after running away from him for the hundredth time today. He looked nerous and kind of scared.

"So" i said turning around facing him, deciding if I should run away again or not.

4 Seconds later but he didn't say anything.

"Come on Devin spit it out it can't be that bad." I said as I punched him in his arm playfully.

"Well....I Wanted to know if you wanted to, i don't know, go grab something to eat with me after school" he said as he ran his hand throw his hair.

"Um...Well, but I was going to hand out with my friend after school." I lied. I didn't want him get the wrong impression that I liked him. Not that i didn't like him, I liked him as a friend, but he might think that way.

"Well she could come to, if she want to." he said quickly. He looked worried, wow this guy could show many emotins at a time.

I don't want to unset him or hurt his feelings. Hey what's the worst that can happen, right?

"Ok" I said slowly, trying not to sound desperate even though I wasn't.

"Great  I'll meet you out front, after school." he said with a big grin on his face as we walked back towards the school doors.

Once we got in throw the doors, the bell rang as if on pue.

"Well, I have to go get my stuff" I said as kids started pouring into the hallway.

"Ok, I'll see you after school then"  he said looking down at me happily as he took his Schudule out of my hand.

"Yup" i said popping the p. I Looked away from him to see that girls were giving me dirty looks. What was that about? Oh, well I guess they're jealous, I thought to myself as if we were going out , which we weren't, I have Nickolas. 

I snapped out of it as he pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back quickly and then we separated. I said Bye again and headed to my locker.

All day today he keep starring at me as girl basically drooled over him. I couldn't pay attention to what the Teacher or what Sierra was saying with out having the feeling that someone's watching me.

The finally bell rand signaling that it was the end of the school day. I went to my locker and then walked out of the school with Sierra close by my side still not paying attention to what she was saying. I would nod ever now and then to make it seem like I was listening.

But then I saw Devin waiting for us on the bench as girls passed by him starring in awn, but he didn't notice. It looked like he was waiting fir someone and when is eye landed on me I knew exactly who he was waiting for, me. He got up and jogged to us with a big smile on his face.

Hey, what's the worst that can happen, right?
