I Forgot You

stiles pov

I was running, I was being chased, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest as those wolves chased me, I don't know who they where but they definitely was not from my pack, maybe a group of omega's they all had yellow eyes, as I ran I howled in a fox kind of way in the hope Scott could hear me, I could here them laughing, don't ask me how but they where definitely laughing in a wolf kind of way.

I darted through the trees I was definitely faster then them but they somehow still managed to catch up the moment I thought I lost them, jumping over a long and through some trees before skidding to a stop, they caught me, 1 wolf in front 5 behind, it took me a moment staring admitting to defeat before my eyes widened, I recognised this jet black wolf, only last time it had electric blue eyes not the fiery red that they hold right now, my panick felt almost instantly over, the wolf infront of my looked a little concerned as i darted my head back before darting my four little paws to scramble my way under the bigger animal infront of my for protection, I felt the bigger wolf tense up and growl as he had this protective stance as he towered over my as I curled up under him watching as the 5 golden eyed wolves emerged into sight, there was a series of growling happening and the snarling as they all glared at the jet black wolf above me, I let out a small whimper of fear, shuffling myself into the leaves under me.

the 5 wolves back up a little as 2 more wolves approached, 1 was dark brown with true red eyes and the other was a golden yellow eyes with yellow blondish fur, they growled at the black wolf at first and he just looked at them before they realised he was standing over my small body in a protective way, then they turned their attention to the other 5 who had considerately backed away more, the black wolf stepped over me so I was behind him and the other 2 wolves stood either side of him, they let out a loud roar of a growl sending the other 5 running in the opposite direction, considering it was 3 against 5 you would think they would have the upper hand but when you are facing to alphas and a beta you aint that certain you will win this fight.

I popped my head up from the ground before changing back into my human form starig at the black wolf "derek!?" I murmured as the 3 wolves also changed back to there human forms, Isaac and Scott both stared at derek a little surprised "what are you doing back" scott asked surprise full in his voice, Derek looked at scott then to me "I forgot someone.... or something" Derek looked a little surprised at me "when did this happen" he asked to no one particular as he gestured to me, Isaac tilted his head "about a couple of weeks ago, we tried to contact you but you are not easy to get a hold of"

Derek let out a sigh he walked over to me and pulled a couple of leaves out of my hair before rubbing his head with another sigh mumbling something "welcome back sour wolf... wait how did you know it was me" Derek blinked and looked at Scott "I didn't" I frowned as Scott shrugged same with Isaac before we headed out of the forest, "Wait so you might have killed me" that just earned me a smirk from Derek "Might have, I was going to, then the small fox ran under me, then suddenly 5 wolves infront of me, maybe then I decided I was going to defend my prey and finish you after I got rid of those pests" I scoffed at his remark causing scott and isaac to chuckle

derek pov

once we got back to the loft I sent isaac and stiles upstairs, I needed to talk yo scott, Isaac left slightly reluctantly as Stiles just gave me a smile and wave "don't be to long sour wolf it's been a while" After waiting for the lights to go on in the loft I glared at scott "you promised me scott, you said you would keep him safe" Scott sighed before looking at me "I promised I'd try and thats what i did, this is stiles we are talking about, you know the recklass one that always gets into trouble no matter what you say and do, it's been 2 years Derek and this wasn't my fault you should have been here to, you havn't even told him" I sighed as he shouted, biting my lip to hold in my rage about his promise, I let out a growl as he finished, I clenched my fist before punching the wall to the building "I know that Scott, and i know he should know, but I couldn't, I couldn't put him in harms way and you know that, you know what they would do if they knew what stiles meant to me, I didn't want to leave but I had to" I growl looking at the floor angry with myself, even leaving didn't protect him, punching the wall again Scott grabbed my arm "Derek, I don't know how to train a fox, he needs you and the full moon will be here in 2 days, he's already been in agonising pain for 2 full moons and I couldn't do anything to help him" Scott said to me I growled an looks at him "what makes you think I can" "because he called for you over and over again"

I sigh and head upstairs, once in the loft I turn to look at Stiles who was sat on the couch talking to Isaac, he seemed happy enough I hide the smile on my lips, I should have came back sooner.... I've missed so much, Scott walks in behind me and over to the couch as I head for the kitchen, so in need of some coffee "what you doing sour wolf" A small voice behind me says as it approaches, I flick the coffee maker on before looking at him "making coffee, why did you come in here" he glanced towards the couch then back at me "PDA over there a bit to much" he said with his usual cocky smile, I hold back a smile before turning my attention back to the coffee "what did you forget.... are you leaving again after you got it" I heard the sadness in his voice as he said the last bit, "Depends" I say before taking a sip and leaning against the counter looking at his eyes "on what?" he asked curiously, "something" I said before walking away back to the couch where isaac and scott had vacatrd shortly after the PDA and up the stairs to isaacs room, I really think I need to sound proof each and every room, I sat and read a book as stiles turned the TV on to watch some show

A few hours went by with Stiles occasionally asking what that something is that I forgot and he finally stopped talking about the show he's watching "hey Derek...." I put the book down and look at him "if you're going to ask what that somethig is again you can leave" he shook his head at me "not exactly, I just want to know what it depends on if you stay or go" the sadness in his voice made me stare at him unable to say anything, "Derek" he chimed before i realized I'd been staring for a while, I let out a sigh and got up grabbung his arm and pulling him up the spiral stare case "Derek" he said again, I pulled him into my room shutting the door behind us and caging him against it "you are so annoying you can't shut up can you" I say staring straight into his eyes

" I just want to know what it..." I cut him off his speech as i grabbed his chin pressing my lips against his, I felt him tense up and pulled away from him, turning my head away, "sorry" I felt his hand stroke across my cheek and pulled my face back to him, his eyes looked shocked but happy then he leaned up and kissed me, it didn't take me long to respond back to his kiss, almost instantly deepening it, he opened his mouth as I kissed him, my tongue fighting with his as I wrap my arm around his waist pulling him closer to me pressing my body into his, I break the kiss, he wraps his arms around my neck, and his legs around my waist as I pick him up and head over to the bed "I forgot you" I mumbled before nipping his neck and kissing along his Jaw, he didn't respond to what i said as i dropped him onto the bed, he looked up at me with a huge grin on his face
