"Here's your coffee Mr.Monroe" I said to my boss. He was a very nice man he and his wife helped me get me on my feet five years ago I was only 16 then. His wife sadly passed away only at the age of 56 due to a drunk driver. But some how he was always able to keep a smile on his face never understood how.

"Thank you Joy may you please cancel all my meetings today I have very important.....personal business today that may take all day. So you may leave as soon as you're finish with your work." He said

"Yes sir" I walked out of his office and got started on my work I wasn't in a hurry though I had no one who was waiting at home for me.

8:30 pm NEW YORK

As I was packing my stuff a couple of gentlemen walked in never seen them before I didn't pay them any mind. These heels I am wearing were killing me and this damn tight skirt was getting on my last nerve.

"Excuse me sweetheart is Mr. Monroe here" I turned around to see a bunch of men staring at me wait no let me restate that a bunch of extremely hot men, they didn't look like they were from here they had sun kissed tans and the way they talked sounded like they originally spoke a foreign language.

"Umm yes he is right in his office let me just call and tell him you gentlemen are here" I said as I picked up the phone.

"Hello Mr. Monroe's a couple of gentlemen are here to see you should I let them in I was just about to leave " I asked him

"Ummm yes please send them right in good day Joy be safe and call if you need anything or get into trouble" he answered

"You too Mr.Monroe and I will you do the same." I answered back

"You all may enter I will be leaving for the day you all have a great day " I walked off before they could say anything these heels were going to be the death of me and I needed them off and quick. I entered the elevator pressing the bottom floor button. As the elevator moved down I looked and say I still had the paperwork Mr. Monroe needed, god how could I forget. I stopped the elevator and pressed his floor again.

Have you ever got a feeling that something bad was about to happen in you stomach. Your brain was telling not to do whatever you were about to do. Well if so that's the feeling I got and it wasn't very pleasing felling either. As the elevators opened Mr. Monroe's doors were cracked opened and I hear shouting but in a different language. As I looked in Mr. Monroe was on his knees on the floor with a gun to his head and before I could even blink he was shot. And me being stupid me I screamed. The only people that ever truly showed love towards me were gone I officially had nothing. Blood was coming out of his head his eyes were wide open. Why did this all look familiar to me?

"Shit get her and don't let her escape or boss will kill us all!" He didn't have to say that twice as soon as I heard that I ran to the the elevator and the doors shut.

"Lord if you can hear me I know we don't see eye to eye and I haven't been the best person but please let me live this out and live the life the Monroe's believed I could have to prove my past wrong please." I said looking up I kicked my hills off as soon as the doors opened not wanting to fall on my ass running from a bunch of gang bangers.

The doors were right in front of me I could almost taste the semi fresh air. Until....... yes I know sadly, until two large hands grabbed my waste.

"Stop manhandling me jack ass let me go" I said kicking him as I kicked him he dropped me and I ran for my dear life. I ran to parking lot and grabbed my keys to unlock my door as I entered I can see them through the rear view mirror. They started shooting bullets, I stepped on the gas and sped off.
