The city

You wondered around the mall, it has been a while since you had visited that iconic place that had left a mark on your younger self due to the frequent visits at it, however, you soon noticed something off, a very close to heart store had apparently closed down and been replaced by a all so classic cafe, your pace quickened as your eyes were set on the new establishment "oh no..." you thought to yourself, heartbroken, that dear store had always been your favorite part of the mall, and now it was replaced by some random cafe? How unacceptable! That place had so many memories, most of them, if not all with your best friend at the time, Lily, you two used to have so much fun on that simple store.

You sighed, before entering the cafe to see what had taken the place of such a wonderful site.

The powerful smell of coffee hit your nostrils like a truck, it was 7 am on a Monday after all, so you assumed every soul in the perimeter was dying for some caffeine, you walked to the waiting line and soon enough it was your turn to order "[favorite caffeinated drink] please!" You spoke, the cashier just proceeded to say the price and charge you swiftly, all with a smile of course, it's their job after all "thank you" you took your receipt and walked off towards a table to wait, while you were waiting you decide to take your phone out and scroll through whatever app you felt like checking, until some pink and brown hair caught your attention, you peeked above your phone and noticed a familiar face sitting in the table across from you.
