Paige sat on her bed reading a book before her laptop lit up with a notification. She laid the book down on her nightstand before picking up her laptop and placing it on her lap. She opened her laptop to find that her friends have started talking on their group chat and were talking about her.

GlitterBomb567: Hey girls!
Emo~to~the~core: Sup
Unicronqueen: hello!
GlitterBomb567: Is Paige online?
Unicronqueen: idk prolly not
Emo~to~the~core: We never know with her
GlitterBomb567: Well she is always offline.
JustAnotherNerdGirl: Hey guys.
Unicornqueen: Paige!!! u r alive!!!
JustAnotherNerdGirl: Um, why is the chat named Hot Mamas?
Emo~to~the~core: That would be Sarahs doing
GlitterBomb567: Hey! I like it!
JustAnotherNerdGirl: Anyway, what are you guys up to?
Unicronqueen: kicking my brother's ass at some video game

JustAnotherNerdGirl: Hey, sorry guys, just had to close my front door. It was open for some odd reason.
Emo~to~the~core: Are you okay?
GlitterBomb567: Yeah that doesn't sound safe
JustAnotherNerdGirl: One second, I think my cat is scratching at my door.
*Another Ten Minutes Passes*
Unicornqueen: Paige was it just your cat?
Emo~to~the~core: Yeah you have been gone a while for it to just be your cat
GlitterBomb567: Guys calm down I am sure that she is fine
*JustAnotherNerdGirl is now online*
JustAnotherNerdGirl: hey guys yeah it was just my cat everything is fine now.
JustAnotherNerdGirl: guys you there?
*GlitterBomb567 is now offline*
*Emo~to~the~core is now offline*
*Unicornqueen is now offline*
*Off Of Chat*
None of the three girls touched their laptops to respond to Paige's account knowing that whoever was online was not Paige. Each of the girls stayed in their rooms afraid for themselves and their friend's life.
