It was a pretty normal Thursday night for me and my friend Skye. If you guys wanted to know my name, well my name is Grace but you can't call me G I don't really mind. Well, as you know, it was a normal Thursday night for me and Skye. We finished all our exam study and we don't really know what to do next. We were already on our phones talking to other people. Yeah I know, we're so unsociable right?
I decided to go on the App Store so I could download a new game or something. Then out of no where this random pop up ad said 'GO CHECK OUT OMEGLE, MEET NEW FRIENDS FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD' so I decided to click on it. 'OI Grace, that could be a scam you know' said Skye. 'Well, we'll both not know until we go check it out' I replied. When I clicked on the link, it took me to safari, and to a website that said 'you're now talking to a random stranger.' In my head I was thinking 'well this could be fun' whilst Skye on the other hand was getting really offended by the stuff other people are asking her.
Stranger: hi asl?
Me: um what?
stranger: *ends the conversation*
'Well that was a bit rude' I told Skye. 'I know right? Some people are just so rude' she said. So I went and talked to another stranger.
Stranger: hey
Me: Hey
Stranger: where u from?
Me: Australia, you?
Stranger: *ends the conversation
What is wrong with people these days? They just end the conversation randomly when I tell them I come from Australia. Woahhhh. People are ridiculous.
It was 9:00 at night, which meant it was time for Skye to go home. Skye just lives around the corner from me, so it wasn't a far journey home.
