The Big Bad Alpha Next Door

I sit in the cafe for what seems like forever when I see the familiar face of the king's beta, Dylan. he walks in and takes the seat in front of me.

"Hey" I breathe out

"How are we doing today fine lady?" He asks leaning on the table with his elbows. I give a giggle and watch as he flags a waiter down.

"You hungry Luna?" Dylan asks as the waiter nears the table.

"Oh no thank you" I say and nod my head. I watch as the waiter stops at our table and takes Dylan's order.

"Okay so I'll get the number one with bacon, a milkshake with that and then I'll get the pancake meal with no butter and uh ouu maybe I'll try the number six but hold the egg, then add a couple
Fruit bowls in with it all please and thank you?" He says to the poor waiter who is struggling to write it all down. I can't help but to laugh at the situation as Dylan looks pissed that she's taking her time. I sit with my mouth open wondering how he would eat all that food. I mean that's like 4 whole meals! The waiter quickly scurries away to the back with the long order.

Dylan turns back to look at me, his smirk falls.

"What are you looking at? I'm hungry" he says pouting.
I start to laugh at the childish act. And watch as he gets slightly annoyed with me.

"Is the alpha planing a luma celebration?" I ask looking at Dylan.
Dylan looks a little nervous and disappointed at first but masks it quickly.

"Uhm no, he's not Luna" he says looking down into his lap showing sorrow. I feel disappointed but not surprised, why would he celebrate finding his mate when it's me? I should have expected it but it still leaves me feeling heartbroken and worthless. I nod my head and look out the window watching as pairs of mates walk by happily holding hands and cuddling up to one another. I feel Dylan's eyes on me as I look. I feel his sadness in the air. I turn as the waiter clears her throat setting the food down on the round table in front of Dylan. He takes his eye off me and onto his food as I look at him. We both thank the waiter and she's bows and walks to take the next order. We sit in a comfortable silence as he mows down his feast. I can't but wonder why the king hasn't made any plans to introduce me to the pack? Then I realize that I shouldn't care about why he hasn't and that it wasn't worth my time to bother with him or it.

Dylan finish's with his food and we leave the sweet old coffee shop and walk into the warm outside air.
"He needs time to accept you Luna" Dylan says looking to me. I frown and look back at Dylan.
"I need a real mate and he needs one of those tramps that roam around in the castle" I say getting angry and walking faster forward. Towards the castle in the distance. Dylan easily catches up with me and we walk again in silence towards the wooded part.
We reach it shortly and Dylan stops by a tree and looks at me.
"Want to go in wolf form?" He asks about to take off his shirt.
"Um sure why not" I say taking a step behind a tree and undressing. I hear bones crack indicating Dylan has shifted into his wolf form. I do the same and come out from the trees to see a bigger light brown wolf laying down. Kaycee trots slowly to the wolf and it gets up as we near. Kaycee starts to wag her tail slightly. The wolf does the same before taking off into the woods.
We chase each other around the woods ducking under logs and jumping over rocks.  I was actually enjoying myself for the first time. Dylan was so carefree about everything he was polite and kind, I felt at home when he's around. It's been at least 2 hours in the woods when we come to a clearing with very pretty flowers. We both step into the field admiring what Mother Nature has made. We instantly after started tackling each other and hoping and jumping around. Playing and goofing around. Dylan managed to pin me down on the ground as he playfully growled down
at me, I do the same as he still has me pinned down.
A loud and deep growl has up jumping up to our feet.
There stood a pitch black wolf baring pearly white teeth. It was Bentley. And let me tell you, he looked super angry
He stalks closer to us with a low growl. I look at Dylan who has his ears pinned back and he was bowing down to Bentley. They began to mind link and Dylan Trotted behind a tree and shifted. He came out from the tree with a pair of shorts on and a tee shirt in his hands. He walks to me and tries to hand me the tee shirt  but not before Bentley growls and Dylan drops his hands immediately. Bentley trots to a tree and grabs a pair of shorts and a shirt. He shifted right in front of me, I quickly shield my eyes and turned around till he just the shorts on. I peaked and he was now clothed from the waist down. However no shirt and what a sight that was, he had tattoos covering his chest and arms. Yummy i thought to my self my attention snaps back to his face when he speaks to me.
"Abby go shift behind my tree" he says while handing Me the tee shirt. I take it in my mouth and walk behind the same tree Bentley was. I shift into human and put the tee shirt that Bentley gave me. When I come out from the tree Dylan is gone and it's just Bentley standing facing me with his arms crossed. His eyes staring straight into my soul. He's super mad. He takes a step towards me and motions for me to come closer. I eye the castle near behind him. If I distract him we can run inside and hide because he looks angry as can be. I gasp and point behind him. He jumps and turns around and that's when I dart past him and make a dash to the castle. I don't hear anything behind me so I speed up and I reach the stairs before I was slammed into the castle doors I Yelp in pain and look to see Bentley holding my neck harshly with his big veiny hands. His eyes are black.
Oh my god what did I just do, he's gonna kill me. My eyes start to water and he shows no remorse as he still holds me in his grip. My feet are lifted of the ground slightly. Then the pressure is off my throat and I fall to the ground gasping for air.
Bentley bends down so he's at my level. He smirks and shakes his head before speaking

"You kitten are in big trouble and that was just the beginning of the punishment love"
