Ruby's Orange

A/N- HEY GUYS!!!! so I'm pretty new to this so feel free to leave reviews and requests on what you want me to write about. First chapter is about when ruby uses her powers for the first time in front of everyone and this being their reaction. I know this chapter is short but they will get longer as I get better at this. Hope you enjoy!

Liam POV

The sound of her body hitting the ground was enough to send chills up my spine, making the hair on the back of my neck stand straight. Not only had Ruby saved us once again but she certainly wasn't a green.

Thirds person perspective

Chubs hugged Zu as tears dripped down her cheek, but still, not a peep of sound escaped her lips. Liam ran towards Ruby's limp body screaming her name, all Ruby has said before her body wiped out cold was "no", she didn't want anyone to be in danger from her even when she was in desperate need of medical attention. Liam ripped off his shirt and began to apply pressure to the spot where the rifle had slammed into her forehead. Liam simply shed a single tear before snapping back into reality. " Chubs! I need help now! Come on!"

Chubs took one running step towards the helpless teen before hesitating. Anger spread across his face as he stood meters from the pair. "Liam. She's an orange! Not green! Ok so she saved us but that doesn't change the fact that she is one of the most dangerous kids on the planet! Do you not realise that." Liam felt the bile rise in his throat before standing to face Chubs, staring down at him. "SHE SAVED US AND IS NOW SEVERELY INJURED! What does a person have to do for you to help them! So she's not green, that doesn't change who she is or what she has done for us! SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT MONSTER YOU THINK SHE IS BUT-" Zu stepped between the boys, now sobbing, and she simply mouthed the word 'stop' before running back to black Betty sobbing even harder than before. Liam cried out for her but after the door of black Betty closed he turned his attention back to ruby to find Chubs working on her forehead, sticking her up before looking at Liam and saying in a soft voice "Sorry." Liam relaxed as he said this, he picked up Ruby's weak body and placed her in the back of Betty before starting the ignition. Without turning he simply looked down at his hands and said in a defeated voice "none of what just happened gets told to Ruby." It wasn't a request it was an order. As the tired Liam and Chubs looked back they found Zu holding her note pad with what she was thinking. 'she is still the Ruby we know and love! She is one of us now. I forgive you both for yelling at each other, not that anyone asked :)'  Smiles spread across the three kids faces, and once Zu was right. Liam slipped on a clean shirt and hoodie before hitting the gas and driving off into the sunset, but deep down Liam knew that this day wouldn't be over for a long time to come.
