Jennie

Knock knock.

The sound of the loud knocks woke me up from my sleep. I could've figured that this was Lisa knocking. But, she already has the key to the door. Which left me confused.

"Lisa? Don't you have the keys?".

I huffed and stumbled off to the door, placing my ear on the wooden door. The knocks got quiet for a second, but then they became even louder.

"Lisa?".

I heard footsteps— the next thing I know is the door opening, her pulling me to her chest. I looked up, all confused. "Listen to me, the men of the man who we kidnapped are here".

"Excuse me?". I tried to pull my arm away, "You kidnapped, not me".

She rolled her eyes, "Alright smart mouth, now move it". She pushed me into another hall that led us straight into another, wider room. Seriously, how many rooms does this place have?

Lisa groaned and pushed me into one of the rooms, but this time. I wasn't alone.

She followed me and locked the door making me blink at her in confusion. The room wasn't that dark, but it was dark enough to make a lot of thoughts revolve inside my head. Inappropriate ones.

I cleared my throat and looked at her, a shotgun was safely in her hand which made my eyes widen.

"Why do you need a shotgun?".

"Don't worry, it's a friendly shotgun". She smiled in the fakest way.

I shrugged my head in disbelief. How can shotguns be friendly- "Get inside that closet". She commanded.

"You think a closet is safe enough to protect us from fucking criminals—". Lisa irritatedly pushed me and raised a finger at me. "Listen here Kitten, if you would rather stay here and let them find you then fine. Wait here, so they can either fucking kill you or take you with them".

"I could care less about a brat like you". Her cold tone made my heart clench.

I sighed, "Fine".

I entered the closet- and she almost closed it but I stopped her in panic, "You aren't going to keep me here forever isn't it?". I whined.

Lisa blinked at me, "Why? Are you scared of the dark?".

I looked down and with a nod, she sighed. "Fine". My eyes widened in the realization that she is now in the closet with me. "But don't be loud".

"So much for a professional you are". I teased, wanting to take back what I said as she coldly shut the door behind her. It was dark - but she was with me. And my heartfelt relief for some reason.

Was it the fact that she was with me? Or was it that I wasn't alone?

My heart started to beat faster— her warmth slowly coming closer to my cold skin. Even if I wanted to look at her, I couldn't.

I can only feel and hear her slow, shallow breathing. And the way hot air escaped her lips, making me stand still in place. Calm down, Jennie.

The sound of footsteps outside of the closet stopped my train of thought. "I know you're here!". A man roared from the other side, making my gasp be replaced by Lisa's hand on my mouth.

She raised the flashlight up, to make her face and mine visible.

Gosh, this looked like a horror movie.

Lisa's big brown eyes made me gulp- she moved her head in a disapproval way, and I nodded. The woman slowly let go, but only to inch closer.

Bang!

I heard loud noises coming closer to us, and I almost gasped once again, knowing I'm actually closer to death by the presence of the other man in here.

What have I gotten myself into?

Lisa looked deep into my eyes and wetted her lips. Her gaze scanned my lips that were parted in pure shock.

My heart thumped as her face came closer. The look in her eyes was dangerous enough to make me want to crawl into a corner. I swallowed hard and watched her dart her tongue out seductively to her lower lip.

I clenched my thighs so tightly.

My breath hitched in my throat as she slowly inches closer - torturing me with her scent. "And you better tell me where is my fucking boss!".

Lisa ignored him and just like that, kissed me. At the exact moment she did, the door of the closet was opened harshly, but she deepens the kiss with open eyes, and shot the man. My eyes widened as I pulled away, the man was on the floor, bleeding and making my stomach flip in shock.

The cold look, that reflected on her face, gave me shudders. Her hands were tightly closed around the cold surface of the metallic grey colored revolver. Lisa seemed to have no sense of humanity.

Her heart seemed to be made of stone— the way she had brutally killed the man as if she was just hunting for a meal. My heart hammers against my chest as I let the eye contact take hold of my soul. Like an eagle, she resembles danger and I was hooked.

And I would never forget the evil glint in her brown eyes.

The murderer who was standing in front of me had the smell of blood. Of danger. I parted my lips, and managed to whisper; "Why?".

My voice came out hoarse, "Why did you kill him?".

"Don't worry, you're safe". She smiled proudly, "This man was just getting in the way of our kiss". She wickedly winked making my face become red.

This crazy psycho.
