Chapter 30

Lauren's POV

Once we left the coffee shop, we embarked on our next journey. We carried on walking towards the next destination on Camila's list. The conversation at the coffee shop lifted a huge weight off my chest, I felt as free as I've ever felt. Telling Camila was easier than I anticipated, she understood and she didn't react badly.

Our hands still intertwined, we walked for a further 10 minutes. Camila made another stop outside of an entrance to a market. She tugged on my arm and gestured me to follow her into the entrance. In all honesty, I've never been to the market - well, not that I can remember. The scenes were amazing, the stalls were endless.

"I didn't even know this was here," I said surprisingly. "How did you know about this?"

"Everyone know's about this babe," Camila mocked me.

She pulled me towards the first stall that was in the market. It was a small-ish stall filled with different chocolates and cakes. It's no surprised she picked this one first. Camila stood asking the stall owner numerous questions about the chocolates whilst I just watched in awe. Camila then decided to buy the chocolates filled with marshmallows. She put them in the plastic bag and pulled me to the stall next to it.

The next stall was hand-made jewellery which Camila loved. She carefully picked up the necklaces, rings and earrings and studied them. She complimented them to the owner and explained that she would come back the next week to make a purchase. We walked off and she was telling me how she wanted to buy the necklace from the stall.

"Camz," I said breaking up from her hand. "I need to go and call my mum, she has been phoning me."

"Okay babe."

"Go carry on looking, I'll meet you in a minute."

I watched Camila disappear into the crowd at the markets and I walked off in the opposite direction. I did need to ring my mum but that wasn't the reason I parted from Camila. I walked towards the jewellery stand and explained to the lady at the stall that I wanted to buy the necklace and the matching earrings. The lady wrapped them up carefully for me and handed them over to me; I put them in my bag and headed back to find Camila.

"Hey Camz," I shouted from a distance. "I'm over here."

I found Camila at another stall and she was talking to the man who owned the stall. She was such an intrigued person, always should interest in everything. She ran towards me and held my hand again. I smiled at her and planted a small kiss on her head, I pulled her close to me.

We decided to finish in the market and make our way back to the house. We were both tired after the long day and wanted to have a rest. Camila leaned into me more and more as our journey back home went on, she was getting tired.

"I bet you wish I brought my car."

Camila just scoffed back at me and threw a soft punch into my arm. She went to throw another punch into my arm but was disturbed when our phones vibrated with a text message.

Camila and I stood still in our spot, looked at our phones and looked at each other. We were shocked and uncontrollably laughing at the message. We seriously didn't expect them to have slept together, well, not this early on anyway.
