Naruto's POV

"Now for my other questions"

"Fire away kit. I will answer what I can."

"First off can you be my Friend!" I ask with excitement.

"What?" The kyubbi asks in total confusion. "Why would you, an innocent, pure little boy want to be friends with ME? I killed your parents, made your life miserable, heck almost killed you for kami's sake!" The kyubbis voice cracking on the last statement.

"Well I've never had a friend before and from what I've seen and heard your just as lonely if not lonelier. Besides I forgive you for you attack because you were under control by that sharingan user. So how about it; will you be my first friend?" I ask kindly

"Sure kit you got your self a friend"

"Yay! Well now because your my friend you need to tell me your name. My name is Naruto Uzumaki and I'm going to be the greatest ninja in konoha! You can continue to call me kit though because I think it's super kawii!" I say bouncing around laughing

"You know no one has ever asked for my name. Although no one has asked to be my friend before either so I'll tell you my name. Kurama kit, my name is Kurama."

"Kurama did my parents love me. The villagers tell me that my parents died because they didn't want to deal with me. Is that true."

"No kit that is not true those idiots don't know what their talking about and I find it quite funny that they are calling their beloved savior and his wife devils and demon spawners." He said with a booming laugh. " your parents loved you so much and your father was so excited to be a dad when Kushina told him the news."

"Ok thank you for telling me. Oh yeah anyway my last question is; are you a girl?" I ask questionably

"Yes, but how'd you know?"

"I don't really know. I mean I guess just the way you carry your self and I mean jiji has told me I'm a pretty good guesser." I state happily.

"You sure are kit. Well on the topic of your 'jiji' as you call him is waiting for you to wake up. His ANBU found you in the alley way and took you to the hospital while informing the hokage."

"Ok Kurama" the I begin to glow which me waking up.

"Oh kit, quick before you go one of the villagers gave you a scar across your eyes and you are now blind. But you have natural sensory abilities so we can practice. Also ask your jiji if you can go to the academy early. I believe your ready."

"Ok Kurama thank you for telling me and I will ask jiji don't worry." With that I glow into total brightness and then dark.

Third's POV
(Before going to see Naruto)

I'm sitting at my desk work to rid myself of my worst enemy... PAPERWORK. I'm arguing with myself once again on why I took this position in the first place.

Being Hokage sucked.

All of a sudden ANBU dolphin burst through the door. "Lord Hokage...Naruto...hospital...quick!" He breathed out. Not a second later poofing away. I was startled and scared I knew dolphin cared for Naruto as a son so if he comes barging in with barley an explanation before leaving I know it's bad. Then it gets through my head 'he said hospital' I stand up quickly making a mess of the papers on my desk. Not caring I quickly leave and get to the hospital when I find dolphin arguing with a nurse on taking in the bundle in his arms.

What I hear the nurse say next makes my blood boil. "We don't take in worthless demons" said with a snear. I come up behind her and with a commanding voice say

"You will treat this boy and then be escorted to Ibinki for releasing an S-class secret."

"Lo-lord ho-Hokage! Ye-yes. Rig-right
aw-way sir." Running away to make a room. She comes back in a few minutes and tells us to follow. Dolphin carries a little bundle which I still have not seen but can on guess is Naruto.

I finally see the damage done when Naruto I put on a hospital bed. My heart stops and drops down to my stomach. I feel bile rise and I surprise the urge to throw up at Naruto's sorry site.

His golden blond hair now crimson red his chest covered in cruel words. Arms and legs covered in scars. I let out a little cry when I see my grandson in so much paining with a scar across his closed eyes. The nurse leaves with 2 ANBU after tending to his wounds.

Time skip 2 days
(Still Third's POV)

I finished my paperwork early today with the motivation to go check on Naruto. I sit next to his bed and hold his hand while watching his chest rise and fall. 'It's been an hour already. Please wake up Naru. Please. Iruka and I can't stop worrying. It's been two long days since we've seen you sunshine.' All of a sudden as if kami herself had answered my prayers I felt Naruto's hand twitch. I was so excited that I called Dolphin right away. As he appeared Naruto's eyes scrunched up and after a moment opened.

As he sat up slowly Dolphin and myself held our breath. He sat up and turned his head left and right as if looking for something.

Then he started to cry. I quickly jumped up to give him a hug but as I touched him he screamed and tried to get away from my grip. "I'm sorry, please don't hurt me.I'm sorry" I heard him murmur. "N-Naruto it's me your jiji I won't hurt you" I whispered to the frightened 5 year.

"Jiji is that you" I was confused by his question I mean of course it would be me. But as he looked up and into my eyes I could finally understand his question. Naruto's ocean blue eyes were clouded. He was blind

Wow that was a long chapter. Hope you enjoyed it! I know some of you might be wondering what happened to dolphin/Iruka and what his connection to Naruto is but that will be in the next chapter.
