Michael put his gun in his backpack and got on a bike. He started pedalling. As he was driving by the corner of the streets through the night, he could see shiny lights in multiple colours in front of him, making a beautiful rainbow a couple of miles away.
As he was getting closer, he breathed in the air as much as he could.
He could feel the scent of the fast food shop which was nearby mixed with the car gases, other people's perfumes as they were walking by and that rush and excitement the atmosphere was giving.
Michael smiled. This smell was familiar to him. It's the smell of the New York City.
Suddenly, he heard a loud noise next to him. It way coming from the car. The guy inside was yelling and probably cursing today's youth.
Michael moved and crossed the street.
Couple of blocks away, in a tunnel next to a biggest McDonald's fast food restaurant, he came across three 17 year-olds.
