Like Farther Like Daughter

The next morning I woke up to an empty bed. Dad had gone to work already. On the side he was last night there was a note and some of my clothes. The note said: Dearest Y/n,
I'm sorry I had to leave early for work. Feel free to use my shower and change into the clothes I brung you.
Love, your farther.
I've got to admit, he does have nice handwriting.

After I read the note I grabbed the clothes and had a shower. I got out and dried my hair, then I sat on the bed and thought about that night. Dad wasn't busy and actually payed attention to me. He proved that all those years I thought he didn't listen to what I liked and didn't like, he did. I was so happy I could just scream. But I didn't because then tones of guards would come bombarding in and notify my farther.

I had a nice few minutes of chilling on dad's bed before he stormed in. I guess he could, because it was his room after all. "Y/n, you must come with me. It is very important" he sounded rushed and looked panicked. He came over to me and grabbed my wrist and forcefully tugged me with him out of the room. "Dad? What's wrong?" I was really confused and tried to keep up with his fast pace. He kept his eyes forward and replied, not daring to look at me in the eyes "you know when I told you about the jedi, and how you must defeat their leader, Luke Skywalker?" "Yes, why? Are they here?" His silence was enough to tell me they were. I tried to break free of my father's grip but every time I did he held on tighter. He kept his grip until someone tore me from him.

I spun around to see a man I had never seen before. He had
blond-ish hair, a beard and was warring white. He had his blue light sabor drawn and my farther took his out. "Let the girl go!" He said in a demanding tone. "No, she is coming with me, I have the high ground, Anakin, don't try it again" the man said as he slowly redirected his sabor to my neck. My dad immediately withdrew his and backed away. "Don't harm her" my dad said "what does she mean to you" the man said, putting the sabor closer to my throat. "She is my daughter" he responded. The man tightened his grip on my arm, like my dad did, and pointed the sabor at dad. The man slowly backed away with me and my dad said "I will rescue you, Y/n, I promise."

The man lead me to his ship where he introduced himself and some others to me. "I'm Obey Wan, this is Leia, Han, Chewbacca, and Luke" I was being kidnapped by jedi! I had to get out of there at all costs. I had to get back to my dad. "Where are you taking me?" I asked, they just stayed silent and got on with their business. Han and Chewbacca went to the front of the ship while Obey Wan and Luke talked about something, just far away enough that I couldnt tell what they were saying. After they finished chatting, they approached me. "What's your name?" Luke asked me "Who wants to know?" Luke looked at Obey Wan "I knew your farther before he became Darth Vader, I trained him before he was corrupted by the dark side." I was shocked that my farther trusted this man, that he trusted the light side. "that was not my farther you knew, my farther would never be assosciated with people like you" I sat down on the floor and they crouched next to me. "We can wait all day" I rolled my eyes and gave in, "my name is Y/n, now where are you taking me?" they ignored me again and shared a worried look.

 Obey Wan looked at me but he seemed determined to do something that I couldn't quite figure out. "Y/n, the dark side is dangerous, you must not trust them as your farther does" "I see through the lies of the jedi, I do not fear the dark side as you do. They have brought peace, freedom, justice and security to their empire" He looked shocked but continued to speak "Y/n, the dark side is evil" but before he could say anymore I said "from my point of view the jedi are evil." Then Luke spoke up "well then you are lost!" Obey Wan put his hand on Luke's shoulder and he got up and made his way to the cockpit, leaving Obey Wan and I on our own. If he really did know my farther then one of them had gone down the wrong path. At first I thought for sure that it was Obey Wan, but after what he told me about my dad, I'm not sure if I'm on the wrong side.

 I pushed that thought to the back of my mind when Obey Wan sat crossed legged next to me and started to speak. "I thought of him as a brother you know, your farther"  he looked me in the eyes "he wasn't always Darth Vader, he was called Anakin Skywalker when I knew him, I trained him to be a jedi master but he yeilded to the temptations of the dark side" I felt anger rise up in me. "How dare you call my farther a jedi, only in his worst nightmares would that ever happen!" I found myself shouting at Obey Wan and he stood up and took a few steps back. "One day soon, you'll realize that I am telling you the truth. As for where we are going, you'll find out when we get there" then he walked over to Luke and told him something.

 What ever it was it made Luke come towards me. "What do you want?" I snapped, however, he kept coming. "Just to talk. Why are you so angry all the time?" he sat where Obey Wan just was and looked at me, I redirected my attention to the floor. "I'm not angry all the time" "Well it sounds like it." At that very moment in time, my farther spoke to me with the force 'Y/n, are you alright? Where are you?' I needed a private place to talk to him. "Where is the bathroom?" I asked Luke "Down the hall, 5th door on the right. I can show you if you want," he offered "Oh, I'm good thanks" then I got up and rushed to the bathroom.
