My back collides with the side of the house and I slide down with tears spilling. Blood coming out of my nose and I feel a bruise starting to develop on my cheek. "Lani, please...," I beg.
She stands over me, pure rage swirling in her brown eyes, "No, you're more insane than I originally thought if you think I'm gonna allow you to continue this shit."
Let me fill you in:
Flashback
When I stormed out, I found myself back at that corner store where that Ricky guy was. He smirked at me when I walked in, earning him a crazed smile and a tilt of the head. "Mind coming here for a moment?" He eagerly hopped over the counter and invaded my personal space. He tried to flirt, but I shake my head.
"I need you to stop talking," I said, then plunged Kindness into his stomach. His life rapidly covered my hand, his eyes were bulged open, the labored gasps of air; all was so euphoric to me. I almost forgot how good it was to feel the knife pass their skin; the warmness on my hand. I bring the knife back slightly before jamming it back in repeatedly. "Didn't your mother teach you not to trust strangers?"
He descends to the floor and I follow him, knife still in his body. His lids started to flutter, but I opened them wide after setting Kindness on the counter. "Ah, ah, ah, keep those pretty eyes open for me, baby boy. I wanna see that soul leave you," he starts to cough up blood and I threw my head back with a satisfied sigh. I looked back at him just as I saw his eyes blow out.
I smiled to myself before I stepped on his chest, "Don't worry, you won't be alone for long." I grabbed Kindness and left the store with a skip in my step, heading to the park. I saw a lonely man jogging along the perimeter of the fairly large area. I skip over to him and stood in his path. He slowed down as he got closer and took an earbud out.
"Are you ok?" He said with a raise of a bushy eyebrow. I nod slowly, "I am for now, but you wouldn't be." Before he could say another word, I drove my knife into his chest and took it out in a swift motion. He drops and I kneel down. I frown when I don't see his soul leave, seeing it already left. I sigh and turned to leave and went towards a particular house.
When I got to the front door, I knocked a few times. A few moments later, the caramel man answers with a smile that almost immediately faltered when he caught sight of my appearance. "Camila, what the hell happened to you?" I cock my head to the side and invited myself in.
"Oh, don't worry, Abel. I'm fine...but I can't say the same for you," he looked down at my hands that were positioned in front of me. When his eyes met mine, he visibly shook, "You...," I put a bloody finger on my lips, "Shh, no talking. Unless you wanna die a lot quicker and more painful than I plan." I twirl Kindness on my finger whilst I stepped closer to him.
I backed him against a wall and held Kindness on his chin. I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him so we were eye-to-eye. "I hate to do this, Abey, but I need to blow off steam. I, also, wanna know what you look like when you're gasping for air and begging for mercy."
He pushes me with force before running off. Silly boy. I got up from the floor and straightened my skirt. I heard him rummaging in the knife drawer and quietly made my way to him. His back was turned to me as he looked through various drawers. I shook my head in amusement at the frantic man.
I grabbed his shoulder and rammed Kindness into the middle of his back. He screams out and falls to the ground in agony. He landed on his stomach with his face turned. I stood over him, bending down to have my cheek against his. "Baby boy, if you never ran, you wouldn't be in this predicament," I said sickly sweet. He was slobbering and crying, begging me to spare his life.
