"Lani, please! I have nowhere to go!" I plea as she throws my belongings out of the door, fuming. "NO! HELL NO!! YOU FUCKING KILLED MY BROTHER!!! BESIDE LIYAH, THE ONLY FAMILY I HAD!! YOU TOOK AWAY MY BIG BROTHER, YOU CRAZY BITCH!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO REACT??!!"

Tears were streaming down her face as were mine. "I didn't know, Lani!" She goes back upstairs and grabs my backpack.

"You're getting the hell outta my house. You went too fucking far, Cabello," she grits, throwing my bag with force. "M-Mommy? Mamá?" A small, tearful voice calls. Lani wipes her tears, "Go back in your room, Baby Girl. We're talking."

She looks between the both of us, "Then why are you crying?" I wipe my eyes on my sweater and walk over to the child, crouching to her level, "We're having a grown up conversation."

She pouts and sniffs, crying, "B-But, Mamá's putting your clothes on the ground. They'll get dirty." I look over at Lani, who has a hard expression etched on her face.

I look back at the hazel eyed girl, "Liyah, go back in the house, you'll catch a cold," I kiss the top of her head. She nods and returns into the house. I stand straight and watch as the little girl ascends up the carpeted stairway.

"You have one hour. You tell her you have to live with a relative. Make up a reason. Then pack your shit and get the fuck out," she says, barely above a whisper, then enters the house.

I start to cry, picking up my shorts and skirts from off of the ground. I pack them all into my almost empty suitcase, not bothering to dust them off.

When I came back inside, a pair of little arms wraps around my legs, "Mommy, please don't go. I love you and I want you to stay with us," she cries.

Lani peeks from around the corner, visibly crushed that her child is going through this. She emerges and picks the little girl up, "Mommy has to go live with your grandma because she's very sick," she lies, looking dead at me, already knowing I killed the broad.

"Can we go too?" Lani shakes her head, "No, because we have to stay here since my job is here." The small Latina pouts, "Can you visit, Mommy?"

I look over at Lani and sigh, "Of course I will, you're my little cupcake!" I smile, pinching the little one's cheeks, earning a cute giggle. I look at Lani, whose shooting fire through her eyes.

I just give her a knowing look and she puts Aaliyah down, "Now, off to bed, Lee Lee, it's way pass bedtime." The four year old nods and puckers her lips for a goodnight kiss. She kisses the both of us on the cheek before racing up the stairs.

As soon as a door closing was heard, Lani pushes me against the wall, making me yelp in surprise, "Ahh!" She stares deep into my eyes, "What kinda shit was that?"

I give her a crazy smile, "Because, you can't get rid of me, Teddy. Even if you kill me, right here, right now. She would be motherless again and she'll be scared of you. I'm not going anywhere."

I push her off and she steps back, an indescribable look on her face. "Y-you're a fucking psycho....get help," she whispers. I tilt my head to the side and laugh, "Oh, Kehlani, you're all the help I need."

"Shhh...it'll all be over soon enough," I sing. The gasping blonde chokes on her own blood as it pours from the gash in her neck. She makes this gurgling noise that just sends chills down my spine.

I throw my head back a sigh. "Fuck...," I say. I look back down just in time to see her blue eyes slowly blow out. Her body spasms as she lets out a strangled gasp and finally gives up.
