Noah's POV
We slowly followed Mrs Davis up the never ending stairs, towards her office.
Being summoned to 'The Office' is mostly bad news. Me and Amy are often called to the office for pranking other people in are dormitories. Our main target is Lily Parkinson. The big bad wolf of this orphanage who would always huff and puff if she didn't get what she wanted, when she asked for it. But if you where lucky, being called to the office could mean you where being fostered, or mabye even adopted. However... the odds where not in our favour.
I don't understand why we would both have to come. If we where pranking we do it separately. And if we where being fostered then it would be just Amy. Her younger brother Little Jimmy had passed away from a flu that was to much for him. Amy tried not to talk about him much, but the pain was still raw.
Eventually, we arrived at her office. We reluctantly sat down on her cushioned boxes that counted as 'seats'. Silence. Mrs Davis starred at us over her half-moon glasses, glaring into the depths of ours souls.
"Noah Brown and Amanda Semple", she said our names as if it hurt to say them, "two of the greatest mischief makers this orphanage has ever seen." I looked over at Amy, her face was completely emotionless, hiding the fear she was probably feeling, wondering if Mrs Davis had found out about the "books in the pillow case prank" she had pulled on Lily. Classic.
"It appears," Mrs Davis carried on ,"that a couple unable to have there own children have taken an interest in you, Amanda", she gave Amy a deathly look, then started to pace the room whilst he carried on ,"However, they are two very well known stars in the profession of...wrestling."My head slowly possessed what she just said. Amy...my bestfriend...was being fostered by...a wrestling couple? Could it be UFC Joseph Benavidez and Megan Olivi? Mabye AEW Jon Moxley and Renee Young. Or... WWE's endless list of epic power couples!! Andrade and Charlotte Flair, Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin, Naomi and Jimmy Uso. Oh the possibilities!!
"Noah?!" Mrs Davis shouted, interrupting my train of thought.
"Yes Mrs?" I murmured.
"Did you hear my question?" She asked. I gave her a look that said 'what do you think?'
"As I was saying", she said, not taking her eyes off me for a second ,"have you ever heard of 'The Man' or 'The Beast-slayer'?"
My jaw dropped onto the floor. Amy was being fostered by Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins?! This is... I got up a d stormed out of The Office. Amy was being fostered and knows nothing about them, disrespects what they do and the characters they play? Amy would be the last person on earth to even try and watch WWE. My heart beated pure jealousy and hate towards everything. I ran outside to the secret garden me and Amy had had found when we had just got in together. Me and Amy. And Amy. Amy. Amy. I had just left her up there in my own spite. Wow what a great friend you are Noah(!)Dragging my feet with me, I turned and almost bumped into Amy. Of course she knew I would be here. We sat next to each other, silently trying to tell each other how we felt. She slipped her hand into mine and stared me straight in the eye. I leaned closer to her. Are lips met. I didn't know what else to do. I had been head over heels for Amy since we met. Now we where being separated. She pulled away and just hugged me. I placed my head on her shoulder and felt sorry for both of us.
"You missed what else Mrs said", Amy whispered.
"What else did she say?" I asked.
"Becky and Seth heard that we where hard to separate easily, so they are going to get you fostered by Nikki Bella" she explained as my mood changed dramatically. Nikki Bella, the greatest Diva of all time was going to be my foster mom?Am I dreaming??
