~Andy’s POV~

We were adopting TODAY. This sounds bad, but we had ‘chosen’ our babies. We decided that we were going to raise them from a very young age so we could get that experience and also so they would think that we were their real parents… which is sort of mean, I guess.

Ashley and I were driving to the adoption centre to bring them home now. We had made their rooms, we had car seats. We had everything we would need. I was so excited, I couldn’t wait to be a parent.

The adoption centre came into view and I heard Ashley let out an excited squeal, “We’re going to be parents Andy! Parents~!” I glanced over to him, he looked so happy.

I parked the car as quickly as I could before getting out of the car and walking round to Ashley’s side of the car. He hadn’t gotten out yet, he was gathering some sheets that we had to bring with us. So being the gentleman I was, I opened the door for him.

“Come on darling~” I smiled at him.

“I’m coming~” Ashley said as he took my out-stretched hand and pulled himself out of the car.

He shut the door with his hip, I then locked the car and started to walk over to the doors, still holding Ashley’s hand. He looked so happy and he was holding my hand so tightly. I squeezed his hand lightly.

Ashley turned his head and kissed my cheek quickly before we walked into the adoption centre.

The woman at the desk recognized us immediately- we had been in here, playing with all of the children and telling them stories in our free time.

“Hello Andy and Ashley~ You’re here to take home your children?” she smiled at us.

“Yes, yes we are~” I told her and grinned.

“Okay~ Well right this way.” She stood up and moved out from behind the desk before leading us to the room where our babies were.

A boy called Jay and a girl called Taylor. We had named them, obviously. And they were honestly the cutest things ever! I already loved them to pieces and I know Ashley did too.

Claudia (The woman from the desk) let us pick them up and collect what little belongings they had here before leading us back out of the room and to the front desk again.

“I assume you have car seats for Jay and Taylor?” She asked us, taking the sheets from Ashley and reading over them.

“We do. We have everything ready back home as well.” I informed her.

“Okay, well the father has to sign here and the… mother? Here.” She said pointing out where we had to sign.

Ash and I exchanged looks, “Ash, you’re the mother.” I told him, laughing as he shot a dirty look at me.

“I know, Andrew.” He smiled slightly before signing the paper with his free hand.

I signed the space for the father and then pushed the sheet back over to Claudia.

“Okay guys, you’re free to go. Raise them well.” She smiled at us again, which Ash and I both returned.

“We will! Thank you so much.” Ashley grinned before waving a little and turning, walking out the door with me in tow.

When we reached the car Ashley and I put the kids in the car. I was carrying Jay and he was carrying Taylor.

Once the kids were in the car I got into the driver’s seat and Ashley got into the passenger seat. I started the car and pulled out of the parking space before beginning to drive home.

The kids were asleep right now, but I knew that they’d be hungry when they woke up so I had to drive home quickly-ish. I was being careful though. No crashing the car.

When we got home the kids had started to stir so Ashley and I got them out of the car and took them inside and through into the ‘children’s living room’. It was baby proof, and it was sort of decorated like it would be for kids.

I sat on the sofa with Jay, watching Ashley as he smiled down at Taylor. He looked so fucking adorable like that.

“Ash, we need to get bottles ready for when they wake up.” I told him.

“I know… um want me to go make them and you can hold them both?” Ash asked me.

“Sure , baby~” I smiled at him as he gave me Taylor.

I held them both close to my chest, watching them start to wake up. Ash had gone to make the bottles, luckily the kitchen was only in the room next to this one but we were considering getting a door put in here so it would lead straight through to the kitchen. Obviously the door would be open most of the time and we would have a baby gate on it so Jay and Taylor wouldn’t be able to get through there.

Taylor opened her eyes first and looked around before her gaze came to rest on my face. I smiled a little, “Hey there, baby~” I whispered. Her lips curved into a smile when she heard me speak. I guess she liked my voice.

She started to babble quietly, still looking up at me from where she was lying on my chest. I glanced to Jay and he opened his eyes when I looked at him, but he started to cry. Obviously very hungry.

“Aw no, shh, shh. It’s okay~” I whispered, kissing his head gently.

Luckily Ashley came through at that point with the bottles, he pouted when he saw Jay crying. Ash took Jay from me and handed me a bottle for Taylor. He sat down beside me on the sofa, beginning to feed Jay. He stopped crying.

I started to feed Taylor, her eyes were closed as I fed her. She looked adorable.

When the kids were finished with their bottles we set them down on this play mat we had bought; on their backs.

The doorbell rang about 5 minutes later and I went to answer it.

CC and his new girlfriend; Emily were standing there along with Jinxx and Jake.

“Hey!” CC grinned, his arm was around Emily’s waist.

“Hey guys, I assume you want to see Jay and Taylor?”

“Yeah!” Jake grinned.

I smiled and let them inside, telling them not to be too noisy. I took them into the children’s room. Jinxx and Emily both squealed when they saw Jay and Taylor.

“They’re so cute~!” Emily squealed.

“I know, that’s why they’re ours~” Ashley giggled, he was sitting on the floor beside Jay and Taylor.

Everyone sat down on the various sofa’s and chairs. We all just sat and chatted about everything, Jay and Taylor had to go to bed at one point though so Ash took them upstairs and settled them before joining us again.

“You guys seem like really great parents.” Jake told us.

“Thanks Jake. That means a lot.” I told him, smiling as I wrapped my arm around Ashley’s waist.

The guys and Emily all left after a while, so me and Ash made up some bottles for later on when Jay and Taylor would undoubtedly wake up in the middle of the night before going to bed.

Sure enough Jay and Taylor both woke up around 3 AM. So Ash and I both got up and fed them, changed their nappies before settling them again so they went back to sleep.

I was so glad that we were finally parents. I couldn’t wait for Jay and Taylor to grow up, I loved them with all my heart, as well as Ash.
