I place my suitcase on my bed and start to put the piles of clothes that sat on my bed into the suitcase. I then went into my bathroom and grabbed some toiletries for my trip. I was about to close up my suitcase when my friend Ashley, walked into the room holding things in her hands. She came over to my bed and placed down lots of different stones and bottles of different liquids in them. She also took out some sage and lit it on fire before going around my room making sure the smoke reach every corner.

"Um, Ashley? What are you doing?" I asked while picking up one of the stones and holding in my hand.

"Well, you are going ghost hunting so you should be protected by the stones and the oils keep you calm and focused." She then made sure that the sage was fully out before throwing it into my trash can.

"Hey! Don't do that, you know that I am allergic to that shit." Right after I finish talking I sneeze and rub my eyes as they start to water.

"You are the one who is about to go out searching for a ghost! If I had a choice then I would suggest that you don't leave for six months." Ashley screams while putting the crystals into my bag and zipping it up.

"Okay, I am not going ghost hunting and you know that. I am just visiting my family so calm down." I then grab my suitcase and walk towards the front door while ignoring anymore babbling that Ashley is doing behind me. I then put my suitcase in my trunk and get into the driver's seat of my car.

"And I know that you just ignored everything that I just said so I am going to shut up and hope that you have a safe trip," Ashley says as she leans in and hugs me. "I will make sure that the gods bless your soul with good luck! She yells as I drive away."

Once I got to a hold hotel deep into the mountains of Washington State I got back into my car and drove down the road until I stopped at a cemetery. I then got out of my car and past the gates of the cemetery. I walked until I got to a gravestone that said Annie Willis I knocked on it three times before a floating figure popped out of the stone.

"Hey, Mom," I say as her pale eyes look into mine.

"Sweetheart! How are you? It has been forever since you last visited!" She asked, giving me a warm smile.

"I'm good, I might need to find a new human body soon, my roommate is getting suspicious and this one keeps getting weaker and weaker." My Mom nods in agreement.

"Well let the body rest and come join the family, I know that they would love to see you!" I smiled and left the human body and started to float next to my Mom. I turned back to my lifeless human body with a worried look. I hope that no one finds it.
