Chapter 11

Harley's POV

I stood in awe as she smiled lightly.

"Kirsten...." Was all I could manage at the moment. "How's May?" She asks quietly. "Good....good..." I answer as I straighten my posture. "You're probably wondering how I'm back...." She says as she plays with a loose strand of hair. I nod. She died on this mission, er, actually ceased to exist. "Liam. He brought my parents back together. I was born again, and yada yada yada. He was using Adam and Ty as cover." Explains Kirsten nervously. My eyes widen, "H-He got your parents together?"

Kirsten nodded sadly, "Yes, but at a cost..." She looked to Ty as he tosses in his sleep. "Harley I'm so sorry." She says a tear slipping down her cheek. "No, its not your fault Kirsten. I should've done more." I answer as I hold her in my arms. She cried softly into my jacket. Finally she pulled away. "I promise I'll do everything I can to get them together again." I gave her a bittersweet smile. I knew this might happen.

Her eyes widened,  "It's already happening!" I look at my hands to see they are diaphanous. "Just make sure they are happy." I answer back. "I have to go say bye to May. Would you mind teleporting me?" Kirsten wiped away another tear, but gently grabs my shoulder. I feel the rush of wind.

CRACK

I open my eyes and see May standing there with a broken glass at her feet. "K-Kirsten!" She cries in joy as she runs over that glass with a crunch. Good thing she's wearing shoes.... Kirsten opens her arms and May slams into them. "Oh god I missed you!" Yelled May as tears spilled down her cheeks.

I look down at my feet and see that I don't have any. I only have arms, thighs, chest and head. May looks at me and screams in horror. "HARLEY!" she runs over and quickly tries to do something. I just give her a small smile. "May, its okay..." "No its not okay! You're disappearing!" She cries as she stands back and looks at me. I open my arms, and she comes in for a hug. "I'll miss you...." She sniffles. I chuckle, "Kirsten will watch you now. You'll be okay."

"Harley.... Always being the big brother...." She gives a soft smile. Kirsten then steps in and says, "Don't worry May. I'm going to fix all of this."

"Your not fixing anything." A voice echo's around the room. Everyone freezes and looks to the door.

Liam.

"YOU BASTARD!" screams May as she picks up a shard of broken glass. She runs at Liam in a rage. Liam simply side-steps, and pushes her down. "Why did you do this Liam?" Asks Kirsten quietly. He looks at her in betrayal. "Why did I do this? I did this to bring you back! Harley killed you, and he knew it!" Now it was Liam's turn to be in a rage. Then he smiled. It stretched farther then any smile, and his eyes turned black.

He's corrupt.

Kirsten looks at me, but I'm to weak. I'm the only one capable of stopping him, and now I'm gone.

Oh shit.

He planned all this. He knew what he was doing. Oh god. Adam..... Ty....... Oh no......

Liam stormed towards me. I didn't move an inch. Even in my weakest state I wasn't going to show fear. "Oh poor Harley. It must be hard knowing you won't be able to help them." Liam grabs me by my collar, "When I'm done with you, I'll make sure they never knew about any of this. Ty will go back to his personal hell, and Adam will marry the wrong person. They'll never know any of this happened, and they'll never know about each other."

Liam threw me across the room. I groaned in pain, but I slowly stood. "Y-You're wrong Liam. What they have is powerful. Powerful enough to take you on." Liam growled at me. I looked at the girls. Kirsten was frozen in place, but not by her own doing. May is knocked out on the floor, shard still in hand. I look at my body. I'm just a floating torso and head.

Liam smirked, "Have fun in the underworld."

I glared at him as all feeling left me. Every sensation was gone, and all that was left was my soft prayer.

Let them be okay.
