Zayn's POV

Her green eyes, they sparkled. When she laughed, it lit up her entire face. Her black hair shined, and I liked it even when she pulled it up in a bun. She dressed like a ballerina, skirts and flats. She looked so innocent, so fragile, but if you made her mad, she wouldn't hesitate to slap you. She had the body of a model, long legs, full lips, but she didn't know it. If she didn't know you she'd be so quiet, so shy. When she cried, it broke my heart. I wanted to punch whoever made her cry. She's incredibly beautiful, but she doesn't know it. Her name is Rose, but if you call her Rosie, she'll give you a glare that makes you wish you were dead. And one more thing about her, she's my best friend and I'm madly in love with her… but she doesn't know.

I've been in love with her since we were thirteen years old and Jake Northland was talking about taking Rose out "cause she had some damn fine legs." I didn't know what came over me, but I got up and punched him in the face. When I auditioned for the X Factor, she came with me. I was going to tell her how I felt, but I got too scared and chickened out. After we came in third place, I returned home with the boys. She was supportive of us through the entire things, always voting or tweeting us. We were so busy with working on our first album, that I didn't get to see her much. But we did write one song with her in mind, "More Than This." Now that she's graduated from high school, she moved to London to live with me. Today is the first day I'm going to see her in months. She's coming to our concert tonight. Liam, Louis, Harry and Niall have helped me make a plan. Harry's going to pull her up on stage before we sing More Than This. And I'm going to dedicate the song to her. So basically I'm declaring my love for her in front of thousands of fans, and I have no idea if she likes me back. Wow… no pressure there.

 Rose's POV

I sat in my front row seat at the One Direction concert and kicked my feet back and forth. I was so excited to see my best friend perform. I hadn't seen him perform live since the X Factor tour. Oh yeah, did I mention I'm best friends with Zayn Malik? I've known him since we were eleven years old. And now he's a famous superstar and I'm sitting front row at one of his concerts. Go figure. My phone buzzed and I pulled it out of my pink purse.

From Zayn :) :Two minutes to show time. Hope you enjoy the show :)

I smiled at the text and typed a reply.

To Zayn :) : I know i will :) Good luck!!!

I put my phone back in my purse and bit my lip. Lately I've been smiling like an idiot whenever he texts me. And I get super jealous when I see pictures of him with other girls. Could I be falling for my best friend? No way.

Luckily before I could think about it any more the lights went down. All the girls in the stadium went nuts and so did I. Hello, I was seeing One Direction live. Who wouldn't scream their heads off? And then the boys ran out on stage, singing "Na Na Na." They were singing and waving to the crowd at the same time. Harry saw me, waved, then tapped Zayn. Zayn turned and saw me. He flashed that brilliant smile of his and winked at me. And… I felt butterflies in my stomach. What the heck? No way could I like him.

They finished Na Na Na, then sang Stand Up. It seemed to me like Zayn was staring at me the entire song. But I must've been wrong. He clearly thought of me as just his best friend. When they finished, the entire stadium went nuts. I screamed too, the madness and fangirling in there must be catching or something.

"Hello London!" Liam said. "What a great crowd tonight!" *cue loud screams and Marry Me Liams!*

"Thanks so much for having us tonight!" Louis said *cue loud screams and Larry Stylinson forever chants.* Gotta love fangirls. Bless their souls.
