chapter one

from the prologue:

but i can't help it

feeling like i was on a new high, i went to bed with literal heart eyes

im falling for you

and couple streets away, in another street, another house, another bed then same thing was happening to jorge.

chapter 1:

jorge's pov (the next morning)

and i can't quit it

i stumble out of thoughts and move to my desk, feeling like i was on cloud nine. i attention diverted my thoughts to my laptop, which i then grabbed and logged on to secret account, that i had that one i knew in real life knew about, and started texting one of my online friends syd.

jorge:
hey r u got time to talk?

syd:
yeah what do u wanna talk about?
is it bout ur crush?
have u told him yet?
r u ever gonna tell him that u like him more than a friend?

'cause i'm stuck on you

jorge:
syd
my god
bro
calm down
i'm never gonna tell benji that i have a crush on him
wat would he think about me
i don't even know his sexuality

and it might be pathetic and u might be skeptical

syd:
fine
but ur been talking about wat u and benji have done together and it always sounds like he might have feelings as well

jorge's whole train of thought stopped there and right then. could benji have feelings for him. he couldn't could he?

but i just want to be with you

jorge:
not assuming anything but his never had anything but a girlfriend
or even talked about boys remotely in the same way that he talks about girls

syd:
bro that's a big rip for u
ig
wait a sec
i'll be back in five

jorge puffed out a slight huff, as he knew that syd wouldn't be back in five.

please tell me boy

moving to his bed jorge lied down, and repeated through his mind what had happened in the past day. then like hitting a gold mine, images of benjis face filled jorges mind, his smiling face lighting up, jorge had a soft spot for benjis smile, so he was smiling wider than he had in months...

*ding*

speak of the devil benji had just text jorge

benji:
hey how u doing?

jorge:
actually weirdly well

can you get a clue?

but u made it so much better today

benji:
aww
thanks so much jorge
off topic but r u free rn ?

jorge:
yeah...
why?

benji:
wanna facetime ?

jorge:
sure why not :)

or come through 'cause i just wanna be with you

*incoming facetime with benji*

as soon as pressed the accept button the face he was just thinking abut filled his screen, smiling but something seemed off, his eyes gave the impression that seconds ago he had been crying or thinking about something important

jorge felt his face twist as he continued to examine benji's face. he felt for his friend so he decided to push this conversation.

im scared

jorge:
hey benji, are you ok
u just look like uve been crying for awhile anything happen
anything between you and brooke

brooke was special, she was a great person, but just in jorge's mind not the best person for benji to date

benji:
so the thing is i'm bi...

of telling you how i feel

jorge felt a wave of both surprise and relief rush over him, to know that his crush wasn't straight
but something bad had happened to benji.
and that was what was most important right now

maybe it's better if i just conceal the truth

jorge:
yeah...
and i'm gay
but keep going tell me what happened

  benji:
so i wrote something stupid and brooke found it and she told me that she couldn't believe that her boyfriend was a fag

for me and, for you

*he starts sobbing*

at the mere sight of benji crying, jorge suddenly woke up, and yelled wait a sec to his phone, then grabbed his phone, without ending the call and running over to benji's house.

arriving at benji's house panting, jorge ripped off the door and ran up to all too familiar stairs to where he knew that benji would be siting crying

so that was a roller coaster of a first chapter, um with the timing of the chapters this chapter is supposed to be in the future (more  specifically the morning after the prologue), i thought i had a whole thing planned but that kinda failed so i pooped out this chapter.
