"You have everything right?" my mom asks
"Yes mom don't worry everything will be alright and I'll be back sooner then you'll think" I reply
"it better be, i still can't believe that my little girl is of to college.... plus at more than 24 miles away from home... " she says with tears forming under her eyes
"Mom... don't get all emotional on me. I don't do crying moms..." my mom chokes and then she smiles at me .
I hug her tight before opening the door of my car. "I love you" she says "Me too" I reply before driving off.
College here I come.
