Tanjiro is a man of patience and discipline. It's a rare occasion for him to lose his cool. The Water Breathe user knows what he should and should not do. Unfortunately, even though the most composed person who has ever existed has some weak points where they cannot remain calm. An example would be Kanao, the said lady has high self-restraint but once she ever sees your room is in shambles, she would lose her mind. She despises unorganized places and ends up the one cleaning that place while wearing this disgusted expression and cursing under her breath.

Meanwhile, The older of the Kamado siblings has his problems too when it comes to keeping himself composed at times. The first reason is when his lover, Zenitsu, has just woken up from a deep slumber and the blond looks so soft that it makes Tanjiro smile in glee. The way Zenitsu's hair is in disarray makes him look adorable, the obvious drool that has dried already still makes the man beautiful, and dear god— the yawn that the yellow head creates is just too much for Tanjiro's well being. That is when Kamado couldn't keep his hands to himself and will jump the latter, attacking the blond's neck, leaving marks here and there where it can be seen by others.

There are also moments where he and his lover spar with each other from time to time. Whenever the blond man whines in between fights for a short break, it makes Tanjiro's heart swell with warmth. The way how Zenitsu drags his name out of his mouth in a childish manner along with an adorable face begging for them to stop sparring is too much for Kamado. Eventually, the younger pillar gives in to his partner's request. After discontinuing their sparring, they always rest under the largest Chinese fire tree within the Kamado Estate and not create a single noise whilst listening to the soft humming of the wind that prompts them to take a nap with their eyes drooping slowly, though the first one who always falls asleep is Agatsuma.

Often, the dark-haired man with burgundy tips gazes at the Thunder Pillar that he cherishes greatly with fond filled eyes. Out of so much love he has for the man that he has beside him he frequently pinches Zenitsu's cheeks while taking the man's soft and warm hands, kissing the back of his palm. And because of so much pinching Tanjiro has done to Zenitsu, his lover has come back to reality after dozing off an hour ago. Agatsuma just groans in annoyance that he was disturbed from his nap but Kamado just lets out a chuckle as a reply. The blond man glares at the younger pillar and turning away, huffing out of exasperation. For the Water Pillar to make up for his small mistake of waking the other pillar of his nap, he gives him a quick peck on his blond lover's cheek and that's where a shower of kisses starts to fall unto Zenitsu's face. Agatsuma is a giggling mess when Kamado hasn't stopped from giving him smooches here and there.

There are also times where Tanjiro walks up towards Zenitsu and pinches the older's cheeks out of the blue. It doesn't matter when or where, Kamado will pinch his lovers' cheeks whenever he wants to. Whether it's during meetings, parties, when it's just the two of them, when there are people, whenever they're on the battlefield or not. It's the urge that drives the younger pillar to squeeze the life out of his adored pillar's cheeks.

Because of this unusual behavior of the Water Pillar, there are people close to them who ask why does he do that to Zenitsu but the answer he always gives them is,

"It's because I love him a lot."

This habit also left Agatsuma curious though he doesn't ask anyways since he loves it when Kamado pinches his cheeks. The blond adores the calloused hands of the man he would be willing to die for. The warmth it emits makes him fall for the other all over again just like how he fell for him when they first met. Zenitsu feels the affection Tanjiro has for him that seethes through the other's hands whenever they touch his face softly with utter care. So, the blond just lets the dark-haired man pinch him whenever, though he dislikes it when Kamado pinches his cheeks when he's concentrating on something or is asleep.

Tanjiro is a man of patience and discipline. It's a rare occasion for him to lose his cool. But some things make him lose his composure and that would be his beloved Zenitsu.
