When I woke up, I could still feel Connor's arms wrapped around my body. I smiled to myself and got out of bed. When I got downstairs, I heard laughter from the living room. When I walked in I saw Brad and Callie on Facetime to who I presume was Mina again. I walked in and Brad and Callie waved.
"Hey Ruby!" Brad waved.
Hey!" I waved back.
I walked into the kitchen to get a coffee. Connor walked in shortly after.
"Hey" He walked over and kissed me.
"What's going on here?"
We pulled apart and turned to face Callie stood there with her face ashen with confusion.
"Oh um.. Callie... me and Connor are together..." I stumbled out.
"WHAT?" She shouts and runs upstairs.
"NO CALLIE WAIT!" I shout after her and chase her upstairs.
She slammed her door in my face.
"CALLIE OPEN THE DOOR! STOP OVERREACTING!!" I yell banging on the door.
The door opened.
"Am I though? Am I?" She barley whispered. "You didn't care about them 3 days ago and now you're best friends with one of them and dating another!"
"Callie things change."
"Do you know what finishes that saying?" She looked down "People change."
"Callie, stop." I sighed.
"Stop what?"
"Making everything about you!"
"EXCUSE ME?" She shouts.
"IT'S NOT LIKE YOU HAVEN'T CHANGED ASWELL CALLIE!"
"WHAT?"
"YOU HAVEN'T DARED SPEAK TO ME SINCE BRAD ARRIVED!"
"BECAUSE YOU SPENT ALL YOUR TIME WITH HIM!" She yelled.
"YOU KNOW WHAT? FUCK YOU!" I scream
Suddenly I felt a fist connect with my cheek. I lokked up at Callie to see her with a shocked look on her face.
That's when anger took over me and I saw red.
BRAD'S POV
They've been upstairs for a few minutes when it goes quiet. That's when I started to get worried.
I ran upstairs, when I got to the top of the stairs I saw something unexplainable. Ruby and Callie were rolling around on the floor throwing punches ateachother.
I ran over to pull them apart. "CONNOR!" I yelled.
I heard Connor run upstairs.
"You take Ruby and i'll take Callie" I shouted to him.
I watched as Connor dragged Ruby away from Callie. He picked her up and walked downstairs, visually strggling with her thrashing around trying to get at Callie.
I heard the front door slam over the sounds of crying coming from Callie. I knealt down and held her into my chest as she screamed.
CONNOR'S POV
I carried Ruby all the way to the park we were at last night.
When we got to a bench, I sat her down and hugged her tight.
When she had finished crying she raised her head. Her face was covered in dried blood and tears.
"I'm sorry." She croaked.
