|Chapter 1|

You're in the car with your mom and dad.
You're not quite sure where they're going, but you didn't really care.
It was snowing outside. You had your eyes glued to the window, staring at all the beautiful snowflakes falling from the sky. You were around 5 years old when you went on this trip.
You pull up to this big house, protected by a gate. Your mom grabs your hand and leads you inside, when you meet the worlds greatest number 2 hero, Endeavor!
Your eyes glow with admiration. He was one of your favorite heros, but your most favorite was Almight, of course since your father was best friends with him since they were little.
Behind him was a little boy. The first thing you noticed was his different colored hair.

He's different, like me!

"This is my boy, Shoto Todoroki. Say hi, Shoto" He states looking down at his young boy.
The dual colored boy walks out from behind him and shakes your hand.
"Hi Todoroki! Im Emika.. but you can call me Mika!" You smiled a warm smile at him.
"Shoto, why don't you show Emika your room.. Her parents and I we need to have a... chat." Endeavour slurs.
Shoto takes you up to his room, and you see such a clean space. Some toys packed away and tons of long windows. You go to one of them, and smile as its still snowing outside.
"I love the snow, Todoroki! I wish it could stay like this forever!" you looked at him, as he came up beside you, looking out as well.
He seemed to have a sad like look on his face.. you knew that look all to well. You grabbed his arm and pulled him into a hug.
Shocked, he whispered as his body was stiff, "What are you doing?"
"I'm hugging you, silly. I know why you're not happy.. I get that way too. Our dads are really alike, and aren't the nicest around. Just know im always here for you. Okay?" you pulled away, giving him a reassuring smile.
"Thank you, Mika.. and you can call me Shoto. I like it when you call me that." He smiled. "Oh, and here" with his ice he made you an ice rose.
"Oh my goodness! Its beautiful! I don't want it to melt!" You say with worry in your eyes, as fear struck losing the one thing that anyone has ever given you.
"Don't worry, Mika. I'll make you one anytime you want one, I promise." He reassuringly smiled.
You clutched the rose into your chest and smiled. It was time to go and you were sad that you had to leave Shoto, having such a good time.
You look out the back window, watching the house grow smaller and smaller in the distance.
"Emika, dear, how would you like to see young Todoroki again?" My mother asked.
She was always the kinder one to me. My father having such a cold side ever since my brother left a year ago.
My face lit up like the Fourth of July.. my eyes with glowing beams in them. "Y-Yes! I'd love that!"

It's 3 months before you start at UA on recommendations and you've seen Shoto every other weekend for a couple years now. Lately, you've been seeing more of each other.
Knowing each other and relying on each other throughout the years has caused both of you to have feelings for one another.
You were there for him when his mother left, giving him the scar on his eye. You reassured him that he's still just as handsome as always.

"Come on Mika, is that all you've got?!" Shoto exclaimed as he was wiping sweat off his chin.
"Looks like you're the one about to tire out on me. I'm just getting started." You smirk as you come at him again.
Today you guys were working on close combat. Working on your skills and how to analyze a situation and judge quickly. You were winning, as you pin Shoto to the ground.
You smirked devilishly, leaning down next to his ear, "I win~"
He grinned and shook his head, getting chills down his spine. "I don't think so."
He put his hand on your arm and rubbed from your shoulder down and lightly let out a spark from his hand, singing your clothes as the flame grew.
Luckily it only singed half of you so you weren't too revealed.
"Shoto! What the hell!?" You screamed looking at your work out suit. "What am I suppose to do now??"
You looked at him. He had remorse in his eyes and you couldn't help but burst out laughing.
He narrowed his eyes at you and shook his head. "Seriously, Mika enough with playing with me like that. I really thought you were hurt!"
"I know. That's the beauty of seeing your cute face when you find out I'm messing with you."
He rolled his eyes and came over to you, coming inches away from your lips. Your breath hitched
