the female tucked a loose strand of lucious blonde hair behind her ear as she sat in front of the oval mirror, adorned with small red roses and twinkling fairy lights, much to her liking. fierce onyx eyes gazed right back at her as she scanned every aspect of her face, from her sharp cheekbones to the light rouge dusted upon her tender cheeks.
a light smirk pulled at the corner of her scarlet lips- everything had to look perfect and it always did, regardless of the inner turmoil hidden deep underneath the beautiful excuse of a mask. as she stood up, the light caught the tight black dress that adorned her figure, sequins strewn across it like the brightest stars embedded in blackest sky.
"something's missing..," the female couldn't help but ponder, gazing critically at her reflection once again. looking toward the left, her eyes caught sight of a pair of elegant earrings dazzing in the light of her vanity.
another final glance at the mirror, she couldn't help it but feel a soft smile form on her blood-red lips as she put the earrings on and observed her near perfect facial features, her eyes forming into crescents. adjusting her expression, the poker face reappeared. her image fully prepared for the appearance. perfection.
