Chapter 19 - Girls trip

After Jackson made us breakfast, I met up with Kiera and Sophia who were waiting patiently outside the mansion for me.

"About time" Kiera yelled as I walked out the door with Jackson who had his arm around my shoulder. I giggled, that girl never changed. Both Kiera and Sophia smiled at Jackson and me as they both realised that the events of last night were positive. They both looked happy which made me smile to myself.

"I have to go babe, I have training in 20 minutes" Jackson said softly as we stopped beside Kiera's white Golf. Giving me a quick kiss on the forehead, Jackson turned to Kiera and Sophia who were staring at us in awe.

"You take care of my girl" he ordered with a smirk, not using his Alpha tone. Sophia rolled her eyes at him while Kiera stood up straight giving him a mock salute. I grinned as I shook my head at his over protectiveness.

Kissing my forehead once more, Jackson turned to leave but hesitated as he turned back towards me with his hand in his pocket. Nervously, he took out a black credit card as he looked up at me, confusion clearly in my face.

"This is yours" he said as he reached out his hand towards me with the card in it.

"Mm..what is it?" I asked innocently, trying not to sound like I knew what it was. He smiled that beautiful smile at me.

"Well, I thought since your not working at the diner anymore, you need some money and I want to provide for you" he said as he took a step forward wrapping his strong arms around me. My cheeks went red and I hung me head low in embarrassment. How the hell did I get so lucky?

"Jackson I can't take that, besides I already have some money from my savings. I'm fine" I whispered. As much as I admired his generosity, I couldn't take his money let alone depend on him to support me. He had enough to do running the pack never mind looking after me.

"Baby please, I want to. Your mine now, to love, protect and take care of. This is one of the ways I want to make sure you'll be ok" he smiled down at me as I stared into those ocean blue eyes I loved so much. Knowing that I wasn't going to win this argument since he gave me those puppy dog eyes that I couldn't resist, I slowly took the card from his hand.

"I'm not going to use it but I'll take it if it makes you happy" I said stubbornly.
"You make me happy" he whispered with a smile as he kissed me gently before walking away in the other direction.

Blushing like a school girl, I got into Kiera's car quickly as the girls giggled in the front seats. "You guys are so cute" Sophia squealed out, I could sense the jealousy in her eyes. Pood girl didn't find her mate yet so obviously she would feel that way.

"Don't worry Soph, you'll find your mate soon" I reassured her as Kiera started up the engine and headed towards the shopping mall.

After hours of walking throughout almost every store in the mall, my feet were killing me. There were only handful of stores left to check out one of which was Victoria Secret, which Kiera was extremely excited about. But before we continued our rampage through the mall, we headed to the food court to grab some ice cream.

"Mmm.....this tastes so good" Sophia murmured out as she filled her mouth with chocolate flavoured ice cream. I laughed as Kiera nodded in agreement with a huge grin as she took a huge mouthful of strawberry flavoured ice cream which was her favourite. Being the explorer that I am, I decided to try different flavours that the ice cream lady had which included; mint, raspberry, carmel and blueberry. I spend the next hour sitting beside my two closest friends, in the middle of the shopping mall laughing and talking.
