I was thinking about Travis the whole time I got home. I just couldn't believe the way he used me. I am just a fool. I should have realized he had a girlfriend. And to think about it, on monday, I would be forced to see him in school. And Aaliyah. How was she dealing with this? She could be mean at times but most of the time she was nice.

In our school, there really wasn't the popular people and the geeks they picked on. That was just hollywood nonsense. We all had the people we hang out with and the people we don't. And everyone knew people at their level. If you were a senior, you would know all the seniors, whether sexy or not or nerdy or not. It didn't matter. But I wasn't a senior. I was a sophmore.

I sat on my bed with my laptop, instant messaging my best friend, Sophia, on AIM. I told her of the situation I had the following day with Travis. It was late Sunday and I had major homework to do yet I was chatting. My parents weren't home. They had some big dinner to go to at a hyped up restaurant in the city.

The phone rang. It must be my parents. I reached to my dresser where the pink phone rang. I answered it. "Hello." I said cheerfully.

"Um...Hey..You kind of left your cell here when..." The person trailed off.

"Um. And who is this?" I asked still cheerful and in a baby voice.

"It's..It's..Travis." He said.

"Oh. You. How did you get my number? Are you stalking me now?" I asked, all cheerfulness out of my voice.

"N..No. You forgot your ph..phone by me last night and I searched the phonebook for HOME." He stummered.

"Fine. But there is one problem." I said angrily.

"Wh..What is it?" He asked.

"I don't ever want to see you again!" I answered.

"Look. Can you just meet me by starbucks to collect the phone? And you won't have to talk to me ever again.

"Promise?" I asked.

"Sure." He stated.

"Well then meet me there tomorrow night. Around 7?" I questioned.

"I'll be there." He said before I hung up the phone.

I can't believe I have to go and meet that liar. Well I needed my cell. It was brand new. And I had all my contacts in it. Lord, I sure hoped that he didn't search my phone. I had some photos there that was not for public eyes. It was photos of my friends and I fooling around.

I rolled out of bed, sleepiness overwhelming me. I stumbled off to the bathroom to freshen up. I was never a morning person. I looked at the clock above the toilet. I only had twenty minutes to get to school. I entered the shower and and melted under the warm stream. I quickly made my way to my closest.

I scanned through it, looking for an outfit to wear. I grabbed a blue tank top that brought out my eyes, a black short pants and a black cardigan. I looked under my bed for my black boots. I found them and slipped it on. I made my way back to the bathroom. I stood before the vanity and passed a brush swiftly through my blonde hair. I held it in a high ponytail and made my way down the stairs.

I grabbed a slice of pizza from the table and grabbed my bus pass. Taking the bus always annoyed me but I was turning sixteen in the next two weeks so I would get a car soon. I glanced back at my house. It was not as big or elaborate as Trevis own but it was home. An average working class house for average working class people.
