"Janette come"
"What happened Sara?"
"Jonathan"
"What did he do?"
"He started dating Liz"
"After a few days?!"
"Yeah"
"Dude that's messed up"
"I hate him"
That happened. I felt bad for my friend. And no I was not happy that they broke up. Not only was Sara heartbroken, but so was I. Jonathan friendzones me. What can I do? Nothing, all I can do is nothing. He seemed alot more happy with Liz. I knew I would never have a damn chance with him.
We talked less now. But I understood, he has a girlfriend now, he doesn't need me anymore, probably never did anyways.
It was the end of the year now. Him and I talked now. Sometimes on phone. I kinda miss the way it used to be. We're we had our inside jokes like "tweenager" or other crap.

Jonathan: heyo I'm bored.

Me: ok? Chat with liz.

Jonathan: yeah but I wanna chat with you.

Me: um ok? Are you and Liz a thing still?

Jonathan: yeah she's just busy.

Jonathan: heyo

Me: I'm kinda worried

Jonathan: why?

Me: Sara isn't responding..

Jonathan: maybe she's busy?

Me: for 2 months?!

Jonathan: maybe family problems. Phone taken away, broken possibly.

Me: true

Jonathan: mhm

Family problems kicked in earlier but at this point it was worse. My dad would tell me "Janette better lose that additude before I hit you with the belt.." he would tell me to do this or that if I didn't i would get threatened to get hit. I would get 1 hour talks with them about not being able to sweep properly, or not cleaning my room on day, or leaving my brother alone while I go to the bathroom. I started to get really mad and upset. I only use my phone for 1 hour so I couldn't chat often. But to be honest I found a way to escape from reality. K-pop. The music i could relate. The idols and their crackhead energy made me laugh. I was happy. My parents didn't accept the fact that K-pop made me happy. Happier than what they did. I would listen to the. And watch videos of them. Thanks to Larisa. She was the one who introduced me to K-pop. I've the summer she would come over or I came over to her house and talk and listen to kpop. I had a really good time with Larisa she is my best friend.
Then before I knew it 7th came around the corner.
