↬ Janette P.O.V.

//First day of school//

5:20 am

I woke up a d changed into my outfit i had picked out the night before. It was a green tank top and some blue pair of jeans. I did my usual morning routine like every other school day. I go to the living room and wait for my dad to wake up and get ready.

6:55 am

I start to think of my friends that I haven't seen in a long time and what my new 7th grade teacher would look like. I never met this Mr. O.  I also wonder who would be in my class and if I'd have a good year.

7:10 am

Oh shoot! I forgot to get my backpack. I quickly grab my backpack and head to the door as my dad starts the car. I arrive and we are told to go straight to our homeroom class. I get there and I see a bunch of kids I didn't want in my class. And saw others that i did. I didn't know where the heck to sit so i sat next to a girl named Gina. She was a chill person. I few minutes later I saw Larisa come throught the door and sat near me.
"Hey Larisa"
"Hi Janette"
I saw her and I could tell she did not feel comfortable sitting I the front.
"I can tell you don't like to sit I the front want to sit I the back?"
"Sure"
I look around for a duo table in the back for us to sit. But what i didn't remember was that Jonathan, the kid I had like for a long time, was in my homeroom.
"Oh goodness an other year with him" i thought.
"Larisa let's go i found one."
"Ok bet"
We go and walk towards the duo table. But I what i ask didn't realize was that his duo table was next to ours. I'm screwed. At first i didn't recognize him. His hair was not fluffy anymore but gelled. He got his ears pierced. I thought
"Dang he looks different."
I do t know if I liked the new look but i saw almost everyone changed and so did I.
"How's your summer?" I asked.
"It was alright"
"Oh that's nice"
Me and Larisa laughed and joked around before class started. But the whole time my eyes were on Jonathan.
"Stop looking at him Janette, stop being a creep"
Class started and it was all good, well that's what I thought.
