TW: Uhh sad?

Virgil slowly opened his eyes. He was laying on the couch.
"He's awake!"
Who's voice was that?
The boy sat up slowly and looked around. All sides were gathered around him.
"What-" Before Virgil could finish his sentence, Patton hugged him. And many hugs followed. All of the sides repeatedly told him how important the boy was to them and to Thomas.

It took a few minutes for him to realise what had happened; when he did, his face paled. Patton immediately noticed. "It's okay Virge, everything's going to be okay"

That's when Virgil broke. He started sobbing and crying not able to keep it back anymore. The others were still hugging him, careful to not make him uncomfortable and telling him that everything's going to be okay now.

After Virgil was a little calmer, Roman played a movie as distraction. It worked. They were watching Frankenweenie and everyone was cuddling.
It was nice.

After the movie finished everyone returned to their rooms, except for Patton who was already asleep on the sofa and Virgil who didn't want to be alone.

This quickly became a daily routine and everyone made sure that Virgil was part of it. It was peaceful and calm. Virgils mental health became better and better with every day. He smiled more often and started to take care of himself. The others took notice of that and were pleased.

But something was off. Sometimes the others would stare at him. Some sad, some hurt. Virgil sometimes saw someone else crying but he was to afraid to confront them. When a side hugged him they would grip so tight as if they were afraid he would vanish if they didn't held him close enough. The worst part of this? He knew it was his fault. They saw him trying to kill himself and this was the result.
If the thoughts got to loud, he would often go for a walk. The singing birds and the fresh air always helped him to clear his mind.
That's what he was doing right now.

He wanted to go into the forest. Virgil wasn't there in a long time. So he made his way down the path, into the forest, to the spot he always visited when he was little. But something was different. There was...a grave?

Virgil carefully got closed, a little scared but mostly curious. Who would be buried in a forest with no one around?

Virgil knelt in front of the grave and read the name of the dead person. He started hyperventilating, tears starting to escape his eyes. Right in front of him was the grave of Virgil Sanders.
