It had been about a month and there had been no leads as to how Alec had died. Persia was sure it had something to do with his friends, but it was impossible to tell. They had gone through all of his text messages, notes in his journal and letters he had received. She decided to get to the bottom of this.

She reached into the back seat of the  car and pulled out her handbag. Persia had no time to do any assignments and was falling behind at college. Alec had take up all her time, and she had started to regret helping him. But he was so desperate to find out what happened and she did not want to let him down. It had been the fifth night in  a row Alec had watched Persia sleep, Persia had become accustomed to waking up with a cloud of smoke hanging over her head, always making her cough. She had asked him why he watches her sleep, and he replied saying he wants to make sure no-one tries to hurt her. At first she thought it was really cute, but he had become a little possessive. Persia had a gut feeling Alec was in trouble, why else would he not only be dead,   but scared something  might happen to her? Despite those thoughts she continued to talk to him. Something about him made her heart  burn with passion, in a way she had never experienced with anyone before. Not to mention how good he was in bed. On many occasions she had not been able to get into contact with Lexi, as according to Alec, she was a mind fuck, not someone to be messing around with. Persia thought it was because she had called her crazy the first time Persia had told her about Alec. But to be honest Alec didn't like Persia speaking to anyone accept him.

She was in chemistry when she came up with a great idea. She waited for Alec at the college gates and when she saw his car pull in she ran over to him. "Someone's happy to see me," He chucked opening the door for her. He gave her a peck in between drags of a cigarette and turned the radio on. "I have had the best idea," Persia said, turning to face Alec. "And what is that then, my kitten?" "Your grave stone! It must have some hint as to why you died?" "He breathed out some smoke and sat still for a minute. This was it, he thought, He would finally know how he died.  "You're a genius!" He said wrapping his arms around her waist. "Put your seat belt on my love, and lets go." Persia did as she was told.
