Alex's POV

I lay on Zack's couch at 4am, regretting my decision. At the time it felt good. I had that "I'm a strong independent man who doesn't need no girl!" attitude going on. Now I'm sat here contemplating my fail of a life and judging my own life choices.

I've known Hayley for a week, and already I miss her sweet laugh, sassy comebacks, beautiful smile and wonderful voice. I should have gone to Oli's to make amends with her. But oh no, me being the stubborn asshole I am had to fuck it all up!

Faintly I heard someone shift on the couch opposite me. Probably Rian or Jack. The chances of that are unlikely, considering they both sleep like the dead. Nightmares? Ugh whatever, it's too early/late for this.

I rolled over onto my side, hoping to seize a little sleep within the few hours I have left. However the person opposite me was creating a fair bit of noise. My voice laced with tiredness, I mumbled at the person to shut up. In which they replied with the mumbled answer of "Fuck off Alex".

Eh, probably Jack then.

Giving up on quieting him, I shut my eyes and attempted to gain unconciousness. Attempted being the key word. Thoughts of the orange haired girl clouded up my mind. Fuck you Hayley Williams!

Rolling over once more, I buried my face into my pillow and felt around for my phone. Eventually I found it under the pillow with my earphones conveniently plugged in. Immediately playing my 'Sleep' playlist, I shut my eyes again, with Hayley and I Miss You by Blink-182 filling my thoughts.

Hayley's POV

My first thought was Oh My God where am I?. Okay, what can I recall from earlier? Alex (though I tried not to think about him too much right now or I'd burst into tears instantly), crying on the bench, British guy, more crying, fell asleep on said bench. The obvious logic here is that the British guy had taken me to his house when I fell asleep. But for all I know he could be a murderer, or rapist, or worse! I'm pretty sure there's nothing worse than a rapist or murderer, but I was quite paranoid at this time.

'Escape!' My mind yelled. I quickly vaulted out of the bed and exited out the door, only to be met by a fucking corridor with many rooms. The stairs were only just visible at the end of the hall to the right. Wooden floor, it had to be a wooden floor, didn't it? It took all of my non existent agility skills to sneak along the corridor, afraid of making a creaking sound. The stairs were considerably harder to manoeuvre down, but the one gymnastics class I took when I was ten was really paying off here. Thankfully there was carpet on the downstairs floors. The front door was within my reach, 10 steps and I'm out!

My blood froze as I heard a key enter the lock of the door. I was too scared to do anything, my body quivering in fright.

'Move, shake, hide!' My mind once again yelled multiple demands but I couldn't follow them. Surprisingly it was Oli who emerged from the door. A wave of relief crashed over me, and I sighed loudly.
