"Do you remember her?" Bucky gazed at the floor memories of her flooding through his brain.

"(Y/N)? Of course, Bucky and (Y/N) the only two people I relied on." Steve responded, smiling at the thought of his two best friends and the time they had spent together before it all went south.

"I think about her all the time Steve. Ever since I got my memories back. She's in almost all of them, and no matter what I do I can't get her out of my head. She meant so much to me, She was the only other thing I had and I got you back but not her." He revealed rubbing his eyes with the palms of his hands, thinking of all the time he had with her.

"You know, she was on the train with you." Steve claimed, turning away.

Bucky's eyes shot open, "What?"

"She fell off right after you did," He felt guilty keeping all this from Bucky, but he couldn't bear to hurt him if she died.

"And you didn't think to tell me!" Bucky growled

"I didn't wanna get your hopes up, Buck-" Steve tried convincing him.

"Get my hopes up? If there's even a slight chance that she's out there, that HYDRA took her too, and that she's still alive then so be it my hopes are up. I need here Steve, I need her with me, I will never forget her!" Bucky exclaimed, running his metal hand through his hair.

Steve inhaled, not ready for what he was about to tell his friend, "I told Natasha to look through all the data, all the intel, and see what she could find, anything even remotely similar to (Y/N) maybe a fake identity she could be using. We even hacked into the HYDRA systems and see what we could find about her."

"And?" There was no response. "What did you find Steve?" Bucky stood from the couch and stomped over to his comrade.

"HYDRA systems say she escaped."

"When? Which base? How did she escape" Bucky had a million questions, but he was shouting out the ones that mattered.

"Says she left 2 weeks ago, bust her way out of there sane, after she snapped out of her dangerous state, she was a highly trained assassin under HYDRA, one of their best, they called her the Dark Amazon. As for the base? The one we took down recently. She most likely escaped during all the chaos of us breaking in." Steve said, letting his friend grasp all the information at once.

"2 weeks ago? Steve that means..." Bucky's eyes widened as he locked eyes with Steve.

"She's alive," Steve finished for him.

"She's alive?" He whispered to himself, almost in a reassuring way, convincing himself that it was true, and that he might be able to see here again-no, if she was still alive, he would see her again!- he promised himself that. "The base we took recently huh? You mean the one-"

"About an hour or two from Manhattan? Yeah. If she went the right way, chances are she's somewhere around here. Nat's still hacking security camera's, frequent hotel visitors, all information within a 10 mile radius of Manhattan. We're gonna find her Buck." Steve set his hand on Bucky's shoulder.

"Oh my god. We've gotta go, we've gotta go now Steve!" Bucky was ecstatic, nervous, but ecstatic. It felt like he was meeting Steve all over again, except it wasn't Steve, it was (Y/N), his precious (Y/N).
