It's been almost a week since Maggie left for Kentucky, and in that week, I've seen more Sean than I would've liked to. I mean that both figuratively...and, as disgusting as it may seem, literally.

Like, for example, at the moment, I was trying to eat my Cap'n Crunch in the one moment of silence I could get. I got up extra early, six thirty on the dot to be exact, and of course, Sean comes down five minutes later in nothing but his tighty-whities.

"Oh, my God, Sean!" I covered my eyes and nearly knocked down my bowl in the process. "Put on some pants or-or a shirt or something!"

"Shit, Mel! You scared me," he shouted, and he probably woke up Jimmy in the process.

"Yeah, I can tell," I muttered. "Here, take my robe."

I, unlike him, had actually covered up. It was so cold in the kitchen, despite the fact that it was 60-something degrees outside, that I had worn a robe. I had on a teeshirt and pajama pants, so I was good.

Living with your ex gets you paranoid about these types of things. Trust me, I've been in this situation with Jimmy more than enough times.

"Thanks for waking me up, Mel," Jimmy murmured gruffly. "Cool robe, dude."

"That was not me!" I yelled to him, picking up my bowl and taking it to the living room.

Within minutes, the two were sat next to me on either side of the couch. I sighed in defeat.

They'll never leave me alone.

"Here's your coffee, Jim," I placed it on the counter in front of him. At first I was confused as to why he wasn't in the booth, but then I realized he was alone.

"Thanks," he rubbed his eyes out of the exhaustion.

"Where's your boyfriend?" I joked, leaning against the counter.

"Who, Sean?" he laughed dryly. "He's at George's. Thank God."

"I love the boy, but I don't think I can handle him spending the night again," I told Jimmy. He nodded in agreement.

"I think I'm going to have Austin take him tonight. God forbid he actually stays in his own apartment tonight."

The annoyance in our tones made me cringe. I felt bad that I was getting so fed up with him, but some people you just can't spend too much time with. I guess I've just gotten so used to Jimmy that I can actually put up with him.

"You know," Jimmy continued. "I think I'd rather die than have to sit with him for another hour."

"That's a little harsh," I couldn't help but laugh.

"You're right," he muttered. "I need more coffee."

"Update on Sean," Jimmy sat next to me on the couch. "While Molly's in Mexico, Sean's staying with Brett. Finally, got the first time in a week, we have the house all to ourselves."

I'm not sure if he meant it the way it sounded, but I could've sworn I saw a flash of something in his eyes.

It's been a couple months since that night I went outside and heard him talking to Austin. He had admitted he still had feelings for me, and something stirred inside me that hadn't for a while.

But, recently, he's been hanging out with Lucy, his girlfriend more and I think it's been getting serious. I'm not jealous, not exactly, but it's weird, because for a bit second I thought there was something there.
