AN: The long-anticipated sequel to The Skeleton's Contract is here. Don't worry, you're not the only one who's been impatient.

Pierre sighed as he laid down in his hole. 3,546 years. That's how long it had been since he had started this miserable existence. Of course, he hadn't been too well off beforehand, but at least, then he had his past love- He took a step back from that, trying to forget as his past love had.

How long does it really take to fall in love? He wondered to himself.

Back then, they had fallen in love so easily, so simply. He had thought that 4,000 years wouldn't even be needed especially since his past love wouldn't remember him and would be free to move on as he wished. Apparently, he was wrong, as, in all that time, his past love had only ever vaguely considered someone, and that had just been twenty or so years previous!

Another sigh.

At this point, he wondered if there was any hope that his past love would fall in love with somebody before the time limit was up. He needed him to, as while he had almost gotten used to this feeling in his chest, it was still noticeably uncomfortable. Even now he still felt like he was suffocating due to the empty feeling in his chest.

He turned over in his little hole, which was surprisingly comfortable he had found over the years, intent to get some rest and hope that his past love would meet someone in the time he was asleep.

Just as he closed his eyes, however, he heard some loud voices. Not only were they loud, however, but they were also almost... familiar. He couldn't quite place them, which was understandable considering he constantly tried to make friends so he knew a lot of people, but he noticed that there were two of them.

With a groan, he sat up to complain about the noise, only to nearly freeze. If he had a jaw to drop, it would be down on the ground right now. Because in front of him were two supernaturals he had never expected to see again (unless of course, the contract didn't come to fruition).

In front of him was not only David, his past love's personal assistant but behind him stood someone he would recognize anywhere, even with the hair color change. After all, without a contract, it's not so easy to forget the supernatural you were once madly in love with.

Pierre stared for a moment before he whispered in such a low voice that he knew that not even the Devil could hear him as he said.

"Michael?"
