You opened your eyes, taking in the variety of pinks and purples in you surroundings. The small clearing you stood in seemed to be a large patch of grass littered with batches of lilac. Just beyond the the trees surrounding you, the ground was covered with the strongly scented purple flowers, except for the areas where the brush parted to form dirt paths leading in different directions. A pink petal falls gently to the ground, prompting you to look up towards the cherry blossom branches that it fell from. The scents of the Lilacs and Cherry blossom trees mix to form a near hypnotic and floral smell; You wondered why no one had made it into a perfume yet.
Just beyond the scents of the flowers was another, much softer aroma; Grass after rain. Your attention shifted to your ears as you recognized the sound of of a modest waterfall just beyond one of the dirt paths. You noticed the feel of light mist against your skin.
Reassessing your surroundings, you finally notice the baby grand piano sitting off to one side of the small open space. Sliding your hand over the top of it, you take note of the smooth coldness against your fingers. Testing the keys you found they were ivory, with a slight weight to them. The sound of the piano was clear and surrounding; The notes were ringing out as if they were coming from somewhere else in the clearing. The slight breeze rustled the branches above, accompanying the tune of the piano. Leaving the instrument behind, you walked towards the nearest path; You had no reasons to hesitate, as you calmly walked on into the pink and purple forest.
