21. What She Said

"Bro, what really happened to the restaurant?" Aljean asks Jao who plays computer games. They were at Aljean's house. "We want to help you fix your problem but you don't want to tell me what happened. And if you don't want me to mess with you, don't come here. Don't you have any electricity? Here you are playing computer games when you can do it at your own house,"

"It's boring there," Jao replied lightly. He just focuses on the game.

"Don't you really want to talk about it? I'm going to turn off our electricity,"

Jao glanced at Aljean who was sitting comfortably on the couch next to him. He was already bored in the game so he didn't continue. He dropped the gadget and lean on the couch.

"Ows, are you afraid I'll turn off our electricity?" - Aljean

"I was going to confess my feelings with her then but she said she was dating again with her ex-boyfriend," Jao began.

Flashback at the restaurant ...

"Dream, I want to confess to you," - Jao

"I have something to say to you too, Jao," - Dream

"What is it?"

Dream could no longer hold back her tears. "I don't want us to be friends anymore. I don't want to be with you anywhere else. It will be the last time I'll see you again. My ex and I are back," 

Jao was shocked at what she said. "What?"

"I agreed to meet with you to tell you to leave me alone and don't bother me anymore,"

Jao was confused by what he heard. "Dream, are you kidding me? Don't play with me this way. You didn't tell me you had a date before,"

Dream is trying to be strong. "You remember when I told you I ran away? Because I had a fight with my Dad. He made me broke up with Renz. But now, we're back. We're dating again. And I don't want anyone to intervene us so I beg you, please leave me alone," after saying those words, she stood up and hurried out of the restaurant. 

Jao, meanwhile, was stunned. He did not understand what happened. This shouldn't be going this way...
