DAHYUN's POV

"This is the first time i'm coming to school this late" I said under my breath, groaning as i watched the stop light to turn red

Yep, never in my whole high school life i was late, this is new to me.

I jolted a bit as i saw the red light turned green, people started to walk that caused me to do the same, nudging some of them i didn't pay attention, all i want now is to get to school even if i'm this late. Maybe i could come to the next subject.

"You're both late and as a punishment you two are going to clean the school's swimming pool, is it clear, Kim Dahyun and  Minatozaki Sana" the teacher said, he nodded his head and didn't even wait for our answer before leaving the two of us

"Oh, so you're the Emo girl that's been talked by student's all the time" She suddenly said, twirling some strands of heh hair on her finger

I looked at her from head to toe, i knew her. She's Minatozaki Sana, a well known student for changing girls like how she changed clothes everyday. I really did my best to avoid her since my first year, but right now i think i forgot that she's still existing and she's also the same year as me. I groan silently, mentally scolding myself.

"That's not my name, so don't call me that" i answered, glaring at her

I heard her chuckle, she then take a step forward making our face an inch closer, that caused my breath to hitch "fiesty, i like it"

"What do you think you're doing? Get away from me before someone sees us"

she backed away with a smirked plastered on her beautiful- wait?! No she's not beautiful, if there is one thing i hated right now, it would be her, i swear to my choco-pie.

I took a deep breath before walking away, but i stop midway and faced her "i'll go to my class, i don't care if you will not come later, i would still clean that stupid pool without you"

"Don't worry baby, i'll clean the pool with you" She said cheekily and then wink that made me cringe, such a flirt. 

And with that i walked away, i don't get it. Why my heart is being this loud? Am i nervous? Yes, that's it. I'm just nervous i might get scolded.

I am now sitting here, but my mind still wandering around, i heard the teacher talk but i can't seem to understand what she's blabbering  about, i sigh as i look outside.

"Hey, is there something bothering you?" I jolted when i felt her breath near my ear, gosh, i still can't believe i befriend this small stack

I looked at her with a frown, she realize our distance so she quickly backed away "It's just because of that Minatozaki Sana"

"Sana?! Why? What's with her?" Chaeyoung asked, pulling her chair near mine, it's just the two of us in this area which is the very back of this room, some of our classmates prefer sitting in front. While me, all i want is peace but i can't seem to have it right now because of this FRIEND of mine

I averted my gaze from her to the front, getting scared that the teachher might scold us but to my surprise, she didn't even throw some gaze on us, so i face Chaeyoung "i'm cleaning the pool with her after this"

"Aaaaaand?" She asked again

"And what? That's it, i'm cleaning the pool with her" 

Chaeyoung chuckled " ok, i get it. You seems to dislike her, why is that?"

"What kind of answer is that? I simply don't like her because she's a play girl, i hate it.  " i answered her, looking back outside.

"You might not know if it's real or just a rumor, you know some people love her because she's beautiful but some of them also hate her. They're jealous, mostly are other girls"Chaeyoung stated, suddenly her voice became soft and low.

I faced her "do you by any chance knew her?"

"Yeah, she's actually my friend" Chaeyoung said,sighing.

Her statement made my brow raised, i can't believe on what she said, i mean wow

Chaeyoung chuckled, resting head on the desk, she looked at me " you looked like you wanted to ask something, go on"

"i just can't believe that you two knew each other, but why can't i see you with her?"

She sigh "beacause, she told me to stay away, She's kinda preventing me to get being bullied again"

I hummed in response, my brain can't process right now 'cause i'm too sleepy. I really hate being a sleep deprived, Chaeyoung then got back to her original seat.

As i was walking my way to the pool, i am still praying that she won't come, but ...

I saw her with the cleaning tool, already cleaning the pool. She felt my presence so she looked up to where i am, a smirk slowly crept on her lips "You're late,darling." 

"Stop calling me names, i have a name" I said under my breath, slowly walking towards her but i stoped halfway "why did you come?"

She let out a snort before walking towards me "Because, this is also my punishment?"

I didn't answer, i don't know why i am just standing here staring straight at her face. Now i know why girls hate her, she got that long eyelashes, pointed nose, plump lips, fair skin and rossy cheeks. Chaeyoung's right, her beauty makes people feel two emotions. It's either love or hate, but what i am suppose to feel right now?, i  kept myself from people to the point that i don't even know how emotions work, i- -

"I hope you're done staring at me?"

Her soft voice made me snap out of my thoughts, i cleared my throat before speaking "I-I am not, you're so full of yourself" 

"I clearly saw that you are" she shakes her head "whatever, Im Doyeon. Now is your turn to clean" she said, passing the cleaning tool to me

"It's Kim Dahyun, you imbecile" i stated with gritted teeth, how come she didn't even got my name correct.

She laugh "Whatever your name is, but i prefer calling you 'darling'. Ok, so you clean there and i... will stay right here"

I followed her with my gaze while she walked her way to the bench a few meters away from me

"Go on, you can finish that easily since i already cleaned the hard part of this pool, thank me later 'love' " she cockily said before resting her back as if she's in the beach

"How many times do i have to tell her to stop calling me names, i already told her mine. Is she that stupid?" I said under my breath, i don't think she'll listen either
