Chapter 1 The Planeride

Beep. "Please put on your seat belts we are beginning our decent" I wake up trying to ignore my aching neck and snoring bestfriend as I sit up and look out the window to see Florida down below me. I look over at Kenzie's sleeping body and decide to have a little fun with this. I pull out my phone and go to alarms to find siren. I set it for one minute and wait. When it got down to 5 seconds I put it up to her ear at the highest volume... BEEP BEEP BEEP.  She Shot up and I started crying because I was laughing so hard. "Natalie Ann Dean your are the most annoying bestfriend ever" I continued laughing as she glared at me, along with the flight attendant. "Please quiet down we are beginning our decent" the flight attendant said with a fake grin. "I'm so exited for Florida. The beaches, the bikinis, THE BOYS!!!" she sounded like a drugged monkey on a sugar high. "Well might as well keep your thoughts to yourself, because we're here to go to college not to party." I knew I was stuck up, but only because I couldn't risk screwing this up, my dad gave me one shot at college and I'm sure as hell not wasting it on parties and boys." Oh come on Nate loosen up we're in Florida, we'll have pleanty of time to study and do boring stuff but come on pleeeaaasssee!!!" I knew she wasn't gonna stop until I agreed so I nodded and slumped back in my seat. Once the plane landed me and Kenz grabbed our suit cases and walked out into the muggy air to find a cab. Sadly our car ride was going to end and we would have to go our separate ways. We couldn't find an apartment together that was in our price range, so we decided on finding a roommate who already had an apartment. Kenzie talked most of the time about how her roommate was cool and she seemed to be friendly. But me on the other hand don't know what my roommates like, we had emailed a couple times and I knew her name was Alex but that's pretty much it. the cab pulled up to my flat and I got out of the car and hugged Kenzie "call me if you need anything I'm just 5 minutes away. And if she's an axe murderer I put some pepper spray in your purse" leave it to my best friend to look out for me " yes mom. I love you and I'll call you after I get settled in. bye." We waved at eachother as the cab drove off, leaving me alone. I walked into the building and up the lift to the 4th floor. After pulling out my new key and opened the door, I was a little surprised by the smell of axe in the air but pushed it away (what girl doesn't like the smell of axe?) I walked into the main room, It looked cozy, I set my stuff down and looked around "is anyone home?" I heard a door click open and foot steps coming down a corridor. "Ya, hey man welcome to the crib I'm Alex" he stepped out into the main room and my jaw dropped to the floor. SHE WAS A HE!!!! WHAT!!! "This can not be happening, your a dude!" I was beyond pissed and his face showed the same thing. "and your a chick, I thought your name was Nate?" He asked running his hands through his thick blond hair. "That's a nickname so I don't have to deal with stalkers like you!!!"i was beyond pissed."well if you cant tell im not a stalker" he said gesturing down over his body. and thats when i saw how gorgeous he reslly was. dirty blond hair, green eyes, toned abs. after eye fucking him i put my serious face on. "ok well we're both going to have to deal with this because i already paid rent, so just tell me where my room is and ill be on my way." he noded, obviously still angry i was a 'chick.' after guiding me down a hallway and into a bedroom he left without another word. I cant believe I got stuck with this jerk, bad boys suck.
