1.) "I'm afraid"

Savannah's POV

I sat in my room on the phone with one of my best friends her name is Lila Phillips... let me give you a small backstory on me, I'm Savannah Lynn Andrews, I live with my parents, and 3 younger brothers, Caleb who's 11, Jake who's 13, and Alex who's 6. I have 2 best friends, one named Jack Grazer and Lila as you know. I'm 15 about to be 16 in a few days actually. To be exact in 3 days haha, anyway I'm on the phone with Lila right now

"I don't know. I don't want like a big party just like, you, jack, Max, a few other friends from school and family you know?" I say "ouu jack... you totally have it for him. You guys made out last week while doing 7 minutes in heaven then completely acted like nothing even happened." She says "cause we're just friends. Plus Jack isn't the one I'd go for..." I say lying "why not?" She asked "because... I don't like good boys. Jack's too sweet and adorable. Plus he's my best friend and I'm not risking our friendship" I say "but you like him. Why not?" She laughed "I'm afraid." I reply "of?" She asked "breaking his heart. Or getting my heart broken" I say she sighed "okayyyy but I'm just saying.. try to get his attention at your party. See what he does" she says I nodded "okay. Well, night Lils see you in a few days. Call me tomorrow" I say "will do. Love you" she smiled "love you!" I reply

We then hang up and a few minutes after watching Disney plus on my tv I got a text

'Jack♥️'

Jack: tomorrow?

Me: tomorrow what?

Jack: tomorrow. Us. Your house? :)

Me: haha, yeah ofc!

Jack: cool cool, can't wait. Gn‼️💙

Me: night♥️

I smiled at the messages after shutting my phone off

"Goodnight. Mrs. Jack Dylan Grazer" I whispered to myself. Smiling

I woke up the next morning and got changed, I walked downstairs to see my parents in the kitchen, Caleb, Alex, and Jake in the living room, Caleb and Jake were playing the video game and Alex was just watching while on his iPad

"Jack's coming over for a while" I tell my mom "okay hun, breakfast is ready you can get whatever you feel" she tells me I nodded and got some fruit, bacon, and waffles and sat on the bar that connects to my living room as I ate I watched Jake and Caleb play the game

I heard a knock and then jack walked in he came and sat beside me "hey" I smiled "ouu bacon" he smiled and grabbed a piece off my plate "hey you pig" I joke he just laughed "what's our plans for the day?" He asked finishing the bacon "not sure yet. Wanna just chill here? Or go skating for a little then come back here?" I ask "let's skateeee" he says I smiled and nodded

I finished my food.. well more like jack and I finished my food then we decided to go skating for a bit

"Sooo, how's everything?" Jack asked as we got outside and began to walk to the skate park "it's okay. I mean.. could be better but whatever" I laugh "So. I have a surprise for you once we get back to your house because I may or may not have left it in my hoodie in your room" he laughed "okay... what is it?" I smiled "if I told you, you wouldn't believe me" he says "tell me" I laugh "plane tickets to Bora Bora" he says "liar. Be serious please" I say "okay.. you'll see" he laughed "fine." I huffed

*later*

Jack was practicing his kick flip when he completely lost the board under him. He fell straight off and hit his cheek on the side of a ramp, gashing it open

We were now in my bathroom fixing it

"Ahh" he whimpers in pain as I put rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and dap it "sorry. It's gotta be done though jack" I say "Sav it hurts" he says grabbing my wrist a bit "let me put a bandaid on it at least" I say he didn't let go of my wrist but I grabbed a bandaid and put it over the small gash on his face I looked into his chocolate brown eyes and he pulled me a little closer, he put my arm over his shoulder and grabbed my waist he smiled a little and so did I, I thought we were about to have a moment then he put me over his shoulder and ran to my bed then slammed me down, not too hard.

"Jack" I laugh as he got overtop of me he smirked then leaned down a bit, our lips connected. Jack and I have always had something even when we were young. If we'd play kingdom, he was the king and I was his queen. No one really ever noticed until our friend Lila walked in on us kissing last week, we always kept our feelings out of it though. If either of us were ever in a relationship we wouldn't kiss or make out because we always just thought of each other as friends... who make out sometimes.

He rolled over and smiled at the ceiling

"There's this girl" he smiled at me I fake smiled back. I like him. I really really like him. But he can't know that. "She's amazing. She's smart, talented, oh god her smile is like no other, her voice is sweet, the way she dresses is gorgeous, she skates, and she's an amazing actress.. god she's almost perfect. No, she is my type of perfect." He says as if he was in love "you're in love." I smiled, I'm always happy when he's happy. Even if he's not all for me. He deserves happiness.

Jack's POV

"Oh trust me, I'm deadly in love with her" I smiled..

If only she knew it was her that I was in love with.
