1 - 2020!

"Okay, so heres the crazy thing!" Madison said as our boss walked out the room. She pulled out her phone, shoving it into my face as I squinted before grabbing her wrist pushing her hand away from me.

"Okay chill! Let me see then!" I said with a slight bit of humour in my voice as I studied her screen before chuckling, "Justin Bieber, 2020." I laughed again seeing her excitement, she was almost squealing and I was sure any minute she was going to start jumping with joy.

"He's going on tour too! Oh Briella, you have to come with me!" She said jumping up and down slightly - just as I predicted as I smiled and rolled my eyes.

"You think using my nickname is going to work?" I laughed, my name was Gabriella but she always called me Briella - just because it was easier. We had been friends since we were two, when our parents met and we were taken to a billion playdates which I'm convinced were mainly for our parents - not actually for our enjoyment because even now you cannot separate our mothers!

"Well, duh!" She said before smiling at me once again, I don't know why she even bothered to ask me, we do everything together. She should know the answer.

"Su-" I went to speak to her as a hand slammed on the counter making me jump as I turned seeing a women looking unimpressed at us.

"I come here to get a drink and this is the service I get!" She shouted in frustration as I rushed over to the counter.

"I'm so sorry, what would you like?" I asked looking at the woman as she glared at me.

"What would I like? Oh, now you care? Thats funny. You didn't care for the whole time period I've been standing here politely waiting for you and your girlfriend to stop chatting when you're clearly supposed to be working! So what would I like? The manager!" She said in anger, as I just looked at her blankly.

"Again, I apologize for not responding sooner. Unfortunately, I cannot get you the manager right now as shes just left." I told her as she scoffed rolling her eyes before storming out the coffee shop.

"Oh my gosh!" I mumbled turning back to Madison as she just stood there, not quite knowing what to do.

"So.." she mumbled trying to backtrack to our previous conversation, "will you?" She asked hopefully as I smiled at her.

"Of course I will Mads, why even bother asking." I giggled as she almost jumped on me hugging me with so much excitement as I hugged her back smiling almost forgetting about that woman!
