My life has always been in one house, one neighborhood, one town, one state. Willmur Texas, the town where if you don't go to church every Sunday and pray, you're the devil. Or not date the boy that has a nice farmer life planned out with eight kids and a tractor, you're shunned. I've never viewed this life as my future, ever since I was little I'd pretend to be sick on Sundays and turn cold shoulders at the nine year old boys already using chewing tobacco. It was never for me.
I always dreamed of the runway, flashing cameras and high heels. The one chance to have everyone look at you and only you.
"Adriana go!" they yell as I walk out on to the long stratched stage. It sounds like a dream and its not far away, given the offer Victoria's Secret has given. I turn eighteen soon and I'm on my way to earn my wings.
